Du Sixun is a seven-character quatrain written by Li Shangyin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. "Du Sixun" refers to the Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu. This poem spoke highly of Du Mu's "Farewell to Wounded Spring" and praised his superb artistic level. The whole poem not only highlights Du Mu's literary position, expresses the author's admiration for Du Mu, but also entrusts the author's own deep feelings for the times and life experiences, implying the loneliness and lack of bosom friends in poetry circles, which has high ideological value and artistic appeal.

To annotate ...

(1) Du Sixun: Du Mu, a poet and essayist in the late Tang Dynasty, entered the DPRK in March of the second year of Dazhong (848) and wrote for Si Xun, Yuan Wailang and the History Museum (see Fan's "Qi Xianggong" and "Annals of Ningling County in Songzhou" last week), so he was named Du Sixun.

⑵ Storm: The Book of Songs, National Wind, Zheng Feng, Storm: "Storm is gloomy, and chickens crow endlessly." Describe the hardships and cherish people's feelings. This is a symbol of the bleak current situation. Sven: This article refers to the poem that Du Mu was reciting at that time, that is, the third sentence is called "intentionally hurting the spring, taking it back to bid farewell".

(3) poor pool: still uneven. When referring to swallows, the tail feathers are uneven. The language "The Book of Songs, National Style, Wind and Swallows": "Swallows fly, and their feathers are different." Ma Chen Rui explained: "The difference in meaning is the same as the difference in appearance." This means that your wings are short and weak, and you can't fly with the birds. This modesty is short-lived, and it is not far from self-injury.

(4) Intention: Intention, indicating other sustenance. Injury to spring: sadness and depression caused by the arrival of spring. Answer: Again. Sadness: sadness at parting. There is a saying in Tang Li Bai's Memory of Xiao Sheng Yan: "Every year, the willow color, Baling hurts."

The high-rise buildings are full of wind and rain, and Du Sixun's poems are short and weak, so they can't catch up with the kindred spirits. Committed to writing poetry, it is both sad for current events and sad for parting. Only Du Sixun deserves respect and praise in the world.

Distinguish and appreciate

The first sentence, "Tall buildings feel gentle in the wind and rain", wrote his own unique feelings about Du Mu's poems. This is a windy and rainy spring. The poet climbed the tall building and looked around, only to see the whole Chang 'an city immersed in the confused rain and fog. This stormy scene just touched the feeling of sadness in my chest.

It is in this harsh environment that the poet has a deeper feeling for Du Mu's poems, because the latter is the product of the era environment of "big storms in tall buildings". Du Mu's "tenderness" can't be exactly referred to, and it doesn't need to be exactly referred to. It should be a sentimental work of the times and sadness.

The second sentence, "short wings are not as good as the pack", turned to himself and also hinted at Du Mu. This is a farewell poem. Li Shangyin used "error" to imply "sadness". I am like a weak swallow struggling in the wind and rain, with short wings and weak strength, unable to catch up with the same group.

This is a life of self-injury and loneliness. You can't fly far, you can't fly wide, and you are modest and weak. You are not as good as Du Mu. The latter meaning echoes the last sentence "only". The last sentence is written on both sides because of the stimulation of "high-rise wind and rain" On the surface, this sentence seems to be dedicated to yourself. In fact, the hatred of "short-winged mistakes in the country" is not unique to Li Shangyin. Another of his songs, "To a Member of the 13th Division of Du Mu", once exhorted Du Mu affectionately: "The iron in the heart benefits from dry work, and frost and snow fall on the temples." It just shows that Du Mu also has a strong heart. Only mentioning yourself here is just a euphemism and implicit expression.

"Deliberately hurting the spring and recovering, there is only Du Sixun in the world." Three or four sentences strongly emphasize Du Mu's poems. It is the basic content and theme of this poem to say goodbye to spring, that is, the meaning of "high-rise building is stormy" and the feeling of "short wings". Wounded Spring and Wounded Farewell highly summarized the main contents and basic themes of Du Mu's poems, and revealed his artistic style with the unique sentimental sentiment of that decadent era. The word "deliberate" not only emphasizes the seriousness of his creative attitude, but also highlights the profound implication of his thought, suggesting that what he said is "separation of hurt spring", which is not the general separation of men and women, and sad people have their own arms. The word "only" in the last sentence spoke highly of Du Mu's lofty position in the poetry circle at that time.

This poem contains rich meanings and implications. The poet tried his best to call Yang Du Mu, but in fact he deliberately cited Du Mu as a homonym. It is both an evaluation of Du Fu and a self-criticism. The poet is single-minded, while commenting and praising Du Fu, he also entrusts his deep feelings for the times and life experiences, implying that the poetry circle is lonely and bosom friends are rare.
