Zhang's Contribution to Poetry

Poetry has a long history in China and reached its peak in the Tang Dynasty. Most of such poets' works have been lost. There are only two poems in the whole Tang Dynasty, and one of them has made him famous through the ages, which is called overwhelming the whole Tang Dynasty and stunning the world. He is Zhang who lived in the early Tang Dynasty.

Moonlit Night on the Spring River is a well-known masterpiece, which follows the old theme of Sui Chen Yuefu and expresses sincere and moving feelings of parting and philosophical life perception. There was no such thing as poetry anthology in the Tang Dynasty. Until the Yuan Dynasty, the poet's poem "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" was almost neglected. Many anthologies, such as Selected Poems of Hundred Schools and Three Hundred Poems of Tang Dynasty, have never seen his poems.

Not only is the Selected Poems of Tang Poetry not included, but it is also not mentioned in more than 20 kinds of poems from Tang Dynasty to Ming Dynasty.

The earliest collection of this poem is Yuefu Poem written by Guo Maoqian, a poet of the Song Dynasty, and only two poems are included in The Whole Poem of Tang Dynasty, and the other one is Answering a Lady's Dream, but its achievement is different from that of A Moonlit Night on a Spring River.

The poet deliberately hides the profound and beautiful artistic world in a vague artistic atmosphere, and the whole poem seems to be shrouded in an ethereal and confused moonlight, attracting readers to explore the true meaning of beauty.

This is also the fundamental reason why this poem can be called a masterpiece.

Poets express their thoughts and feelings in real time, and never think too much about the subsequent influence. However, it is undeniable that this poem plays an inestimable role in Tang poetry and has a far-reaching influence on later poetry creation.

For example, Cui Hao's "The yellow crane never returns to earth, and the white clouds will never fly without him" is probably realized through one of them, "The white clouds are long gone, and the green maple is full of sorrow", Zhang Jiuling's "When will the bright moon cross the sea, and Su Shi's" When will the bright moon be there? " Ask heaven for wine, you can find a trace in the poem more or less.

There are few records about Zhang in history. There are only a few words in the whole Tang poetry: "Zhang, a native of Yangzhou, was a soldier in Yanzhou. Two poems by He, Zhang Xu and Bao Rong's' Wuzhong Sizi'. "

The wine garden poetry also said, needless to say, the fame of this poem. In terms of style, Liu Xiyi's Yi Dao is similar to it.

There are only two poems left, not that he is "too lazy", but that years have passed and many poems have been lost. Whether it is good or bad can only be judged by future generations at will.
