The history of the lyricist

It is not difficult for us to imagine that ancient lyrics must be spoken. Later, the characters appeared. At first, words were not used to write words, but a series of symbols instead of "notes". Slowly, symbols are endowed with various meanings, so they become an important tool for our communication.

From the pre-Qin Dynasty to the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and then to the Tang and Song Dynasties, the development of lyrics reached its peak. With the development of science and technology, convenient transportation and cultural exchange, Tang and Song poetry, especially Song poetry, has gained great nutrition. Because it is written because of "songs", it is easy to infect people emotionally, so the lyrics are popular among people in Yangchun Baixue and Xialiba. By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Republic of China and the founding of New China, Song Ci was still the preference of many talented people and beautiful women, and various epigrams were also incorporated into various operas, some of which were lost, while others continued to spread after innovation.

The lyrics we are talking about now mainly refer to the lyrics of popular songs or folk operas. This history began at the end of 1978 after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee. The composer's repressed self-consciousness began to recover, releasing the melody in his heart on the scarred land. This is the transitional period of pop music. The consciousness of "people" began to rise. People got rid of the spiritual shackles that have been bound for many years and began to pursue a new spiritual life. They began to look for "light" with "black eyes" (Gu Cheng's poem "Generation"). At that time, the famous songs were: A toast by Shi Guangnan, In the Field of Hope, Homesickness by Zhang Piji, Night in a Military Port by Liu, Grass by Zhang Zhuoya, Where is Happiness by Jiang Chunyang, Mother's Kiss by Tie Yuan and Xu's Moon on the 15th. 1979 and 1980 are the periods when pop songs from Hong Kong and Taiwan swept the mainland. The ten-year catastrophe caused a sharp decline in the quality of national culture, which formed young people's thirst for pop music and mainland young people's thirst for Hong Kong and Taiwan music. During this period, pop music from Hong Kong and Taiwan poured into the mainland, from Teresa Teng to Zhang Mingmin and from Chyi Chin to Wang Jie, which made people crazy.

From the 1990s to the 20th century, pop music developed in full swing. Nowadays, although folk music and opera have been developing and innovating, pop music has become the mainstream of social music. The lyrics of pop music have also become popular, which has also produced many well-known lyric writers.
