North Shaanxi Xintian Tour is an intangible cultural heritage.
Xintianyou is a form of folk song spread in northwest China. In 2011, Xintianyou was announced by the Shaanxi Provincial Government as the third batch of intangible cultural heritage projects in Shaanxi Province. Xintianyou is a masterpiece handed down from generation to generation engraved with old ingots on the Loess Plateau in the northwest. It is a wonderful flower among the Huangpo and Huangshui. Its lyrics are in the up-and-down sentence style with the seven-character pattern 223 as the basic sentence format, and are famous for the romantic Bixing technique.
Xintianyou reflects social life from all aspects and sings the joys, sorrows, loves and hates of the people in northern Shaanxi. When the social system fundamentally changes, the content and form of folk songs also change. This change is reflected in the new social life and new characters in the content, and also gives new meaning to various genres. Therefore, it is natural for Xintianyou to become an intangible cultural heritage.
The characteristics of Xintianyou are listed as follows:
1. Bixing techniques
Xintianyou’s Bixing is very extensive, ranging from the sun, moon, stars, wind, clouds, rain and dew; Flowers, plants, trees, birds, animals, insects and fish; as well as firewood, rice, oil, salt, grains, food, clothing and daily life can all be compared. Xing not only has a metaphorical meaning, but also has the function of entrusting and initiating. It can arouse emotions through subtle suggestions, that is, using subtle things to express the author's emotions and exaggerate the atmosphere.
2. Formal Rhythm
Xintianyou's libretto is generally in two-sentence form. The first sentence is an uproar and the second sentence is a punctuation. It is basically an improvisation. These colloquial poems are strikingly eloquent, vivid and have strong artistic appeal. Its content mainly reflects love, marriage, resistance to oppression and the fight for freedom.
