The Role of Moon Image in Du Fu's Moonlit Night

Moonlit Night depicts a full moon instead of a full moon. The image of the moon has at least three functions: ① it reminds the poet of his wife and children; (2) The description of the wife under the moon in the necklace couplet exaggerates the sad atmosphere that the wife misses her husband and enhances her appeal; (3) Expressed the theme that the moon sends lovesickness thousands of miles away, which created a great imagination space for readers and received endless artistic effects.
