1. Moses went down the mountain (1-8)
1. Reminder before downhill 1-2
The LORD said to Moses, "Come to me, you and Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and seventy elders of Israel, and worship at a distance. Only you can get close to God, but they can't get close to him. And the people shall not go up with you.
2. Sacred work after going down the mountain 3-8
A. convey to people:
Moses went down from the mountain and told the people all the commands and laws of the Lord. All the people said with one voice, We will do all that the LORD has commanded.
B. will be ordered to write a book:
Moses wrote all the commands of the Lord in a book.
C. build an altar at the foot of the mountain:
If you can build an altar and sacrifice before God every day, you must perform the following steps:
First, get up early in the morning. Almost every day, Jesus gets up early in the morning to get close to God and even prays to God all night (Luke 2 1:37-38, 6: 12).
Second, build altar columns. Building altar pillars is a spiritual work that Christians need to do every day.
Third, offer two sacrifices. Burnt offerings and peace offerings.
..... It means to give yourself completely to God. As a living sacrifice, giving yourself every day is a necessity for the growth of life!
Fourth, the cow's blood is divided into half.
..... Moses put half the blood in the basin, and half spilled it on the altar. This means that they can approach God through sacrifice and blood.
D. read to people:
The book I read is from chapter 20 to chapter 23.
* * *: The most important task of God's servant is to get up early every morning to accept God's "command" and then "go down the mountain" to convey God's "command" to the people, so that the people can obey God's command.
Scripture: Your word is a lamp at my feet and a light on my way. I swore to keep your righteous laws, and I will do as I swore. (poem119:105-106)
2. The servant of God goes up the mountain (9- 18)
1. Grassroots-Follow the leader up the mountain 9- 1 1
Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel went up the mountain.
There are seventy grassroots leaders going up the mountain, and it seems that they can only go up to the foot of the mountain (14). Then they saw two things:
A. seeing god's feet:
They saw the God of Israel, and there seemed to be a paved sapphire under his feet, as clear as the sky.
B. look at god's hand:
His hand was not laid on the distinguished men of Israel; They looked at God, and they ate and drank.
We eat the covenant feast and have fellowship with God, so we are no longer afraid (for example. 19: 16). This shows that we have found grace in Christ, and we can safely see God because of the help of God's gracious hand (Ezra 7:9).
2. Middle level-going up the mountain with Joshua 12- 16
This time Moses continued to climb the mountain with his closest colleague Joshua, as if he could only climb halfway up the mountain. This time up the mountain, there are four performances:
A. Entrusted by God:
The Lord said to Moses, "Come up to the mountain and live here. I will give you the stone tablets and the laws and commandments I have written, so that you can teach the people. 」
..... This time, Moses came to the mountain of God and accepted two important tasks:
First, it is the god version. (for example. 3 1: 18, Shen 5:22)
..... When workers preach, they must first accept the law of truth.
Second, don't teach the people.
..... This means that workers should also spread things from God.
B.help me. Same as above:
..... Moses and his assistant Joshua got up and went up the mountain of God.
* * This means that today's workers must also bring the spirituality of their assistants (act 12:5).
C. commission meeting:
..... Moses said to the elders, "Wait here until we come back. Aaron and Hur are with you. Anyone who has a dispute can find them nearby. "
..... Moses entrusted Aaron Hur to meet with him, but there were still incidents of worshipping Taurus (for example. 32: 1-8).
..... This also reminds us that workers should be cautious about the whole group.
D. covered by clouds:
When Moses went up the mountain, a cloud covered the mountain. The glory of the Lord stopped at Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered the mountain for six days. On the seventh day, he called Moses from the cloud.
..... The two of them were covered by clouds on the mountain, indicating that they were decorated by the spirit of God (Lin Qian 1. 12:22-24). Because "cloud" can predict the Holy Spirit (Chr 2. 5: 13, Acts 2:4),
3. Tall building-going up the mountain alone 17- 18
..... This time Moses and Joshua went up the mountain together (13, before. 32: 15- 16), but Moses was the only one who entered the deepest spiritual intercourse at the highest level. This means that God's workers must have time to go deep into the depths alone to communicate with the gods.
A. to the top of the mountain:
..... The glory of the Lord was like a blazing fire on the top of the mountain before the eyes of Israel.
..... These three levels of spiritual communication, only Moses reached the peak. Just like the three-step spiritual communication in Gethsemane Garden, the disciples sat and waited (Matthew. 26: 36); The three disciples could do nothing (Matt. 26: 40-4 1); The only one, my Lord Jesus, has close spiritual contact with the Father (Matthew. 26:39,42,44).
* * Today, there are three layers of Christians with different spirituality in the church: some are at the foot of the mountain, some are at the mountainside, and some are at the top of the mountain. Where are you now?
B. entering the cloud:
..... Moses went into the cloud and went up the mountain, where he stayed forty days and forty nights.
At this time, Moses was not only covered by clouds, but also entered the clouds and believed with God for forty days and nights.
* * This means that you are out of the temperament of God. 1:4), pray in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20) and enter the secret place of spiritual communication.
Forty is the number of tests or tests. This is a test for Israel, not Moses. However, they failed because they were trapped in sin.
Today, our spirituality is in urgent need of "going into the clouds"-praying in the Holy Spirit.
Scripture: A cloud came to cover them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved son, so listen to him. (Kyle 9:7)
