Classical poetry, also known as archaic poetry, is characterized by free rhyme, unlimited words, no respect for hierarchy and level, and no antithesis. Poems before the Tang Dynasty are called archaic poems. Poetry in the Tang Dynasty and beyond is called modern poetry or modern poetry, and modern poetry is the mainstream of poetry. Of course, there were still many poets in the Tang and Song Dynasties who were willing to write blank classical poems, such as Li Bai and Wang Wei.
