Group Reading —— Towards Thinking Reading

First, the topic selection and text selection of group reading teaching

The score of reading group articles depends largely on what topics are determined and what articles are put together. Our school has built a group reading course group with six themes: expression, genre, reading strategy, viewpoint, writer and humanistic theme. Each grade group determines the sub-topics of this grade according to the general topic.

1. Writing with genre as the theme

The second grade group took the easy-to-understand doggerel as the subtitle, and chose a poem "Generality on the River", "Poem of Besieged City" and "Alas".

"Zheng Banqiao's Godson" and "Laughing and Killing a Cow" enable students to understand limerick by reading a genre of works continuously.

In fact, many units in many laxatives textbooks are group texts. For example, Unit 3 (Part 3) is a fairy tale unit, Unit 4 (Part 4) is a myth unit, Unit 5 (Part 5) is an explanatory unit, and Unit 4 (Part 6) is a novel unit. When teaching these units, we can regard the text as a group of short essays with genre as the theme.

2. Writing with reading strategies as the theme.

The arrangement of strategic units in the textbook, such as "prediction" in grade three, "questioning" in grade four, "improving reading speed" in grade five and "purposeful reading" in grade six.

Second, the strategy of group reading

1. Compare. Find similarities, subtle differences under great harmony, and differences in theme ideas.

2. integration. Some essays have the same theme or discussed issues, but the materials presented from different angles are different.

Or it presents "fragments" and needs readers to "assemble".
