Chilechuan is a place name, not the name of a river. According to experts' interpretation, opinions vary. The first one is that it is in Shuozhou and Ningwu, Shanxi; The second view is in Yinshan area of Inner Mongolia, including the Dahe River Basin in Hohhot and the Kundulun River Basin in Baotou. The third view is that in today's Tumochuan Plain in Inner Mongolia, most Tuyouqi in Baotou and a few Tuzuoqi in Hohhot are reviving Chilechuan culture. Today, there are Chilechuan Street and Tumote Zuo Qi in Saihan District of Hohhot.
