(1) Lvhui: It means the rejuvenation of the earth. Huangdi ordered Ling Lun to cut off bamboo into a tube (later people also used metal tubes) to set the tone and wait for the energy of December. The six yang categories are Lu, namely Huangzhong, Taicu, Guxi, Ruibin, Yize, and Wushe; the six yin categories are Lu, namely Dalu, Jiaozhong, Zhonglu, Linzhong, Nanlu, and Yingzhong. The twelfth month of the lunar calendar belongs to Lu, and the first month belongs to Lv. The beginning of spring is often at the turn of December and January, so it is called "Lühui".
(2) Suiwan: The beginning of spring when this poem was written was years ago. Folks call it inner spring, so it is called Suiwan.
