In 1954, Love co-founded the poetry magazine "Genesis" with Zhang Mo and Wan Xian***. He served as editor-in-chief for decades and advocated surrealism, which had a profound influence on the development of modern poetry in Taiwan. His works have been translated into English, French, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Swedish and other languages, and have been included in various poetry anthologies, including the "Anthology of China's Top Ten Contemporary Poets". In 1982, the long poem "Reprint of Blood" won the China Times Literary Recommendation Award, and the poetry collection "The Wound of Time" won the Sun Yat-sen Literary Creation Award. I was selected as one of Taiwan's "Top Ten Poets". Won the Wu Sanlian Literary Award in 1983. Won the Taiwan Literary Award in 1991. In 1999, the poetry collection "Magic Song" was selected as one of Taiwan's literary classics. In 2001, the 3,000-line poem "Driftwood" was published, which shocked the Chinese poetry world and was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature. In 2003, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Honorary Award by the China Literature and Art Association. In 2004, he won the "Big Dipper Award" of the International Poetry Award "New Poetry Circle" in Beijing. In 2009, his poetry collection "What Yu Wants to Say" won China's first Overseas Chinese Literature Award. He spent his life writing poetry, translating poetry, teaching poetry, and editing poetry. He has published 37 collections of poetry, 7 collections of essays, 5 collections of reviews, and 8 collections of translations. The masterpiece "Death in the Stone Chamber" is widely valued by the poetry community. Because of its almost magical expression, Love is called the "Poetry Demon". In the autumn of 2009, "The Complete Collection of Love's Poems" was published by Heshan 21st Century International Forum.

Lov has been exploring calligraphy for nearly 50 years. He is not only good at Wei stele and Han li, but also good at running cursive. His calligraphy style is lively and loose, and his realm is lofty. He has been invited to Taipei, Taichung, the Philippines, It has been exhibited in Malaysia, Vancouver, New York, Beijing, Hengyang, Xi'an, Jinan, Nanning, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan and other places, and is increasingly favored by collectors. The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs once presented his calligraphy works as gifts to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Love is currently the permanent honorary president of the Hong Kong Contemporary Writers Association, and a visiting professor at Beijing Normal University, Huaqiao University of China, Guangxi University for Nationalities, and North Central University in Shanxi. Over the past 20 years, he has returned to the mainland more than 20 times and his hometown 15 times to visit relatives, meet friends, give lectures, attend poetry gatherings, exchange poetry skills, and hold personal calligraphy exhibitions.
