2. Symphony in A minor (1882—1883): This piece may be an extension of the student symphony. * * * There are three movements that have never been performed.

3. Nordic Symphony: This song no longer exists. Bruno Walter, Mahler's best friend, German-American conductor and pianist, wrote gustav mahler, which mentioned the process that the manuscript of this Nordic Symphony was destroyed by the composer himself.

Song of bereavement (190 1 year-1904) Mahler's second symphony (Resurrection) was sung by Niebert and Horn.

Abbado director Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

The second symphony was written in 1894. Because the last movement used the poem "Resurrection" by the German poet Klopsch Tok, it was named "Symphony of Resurrection". 1On March 4th, 895, Richard Strauss conducted the first three movements of the Berlin Philharmonic.1On February 3rd, 895, Mahler personally conducted the entire premiere of the Berlin Philharmonic. Works include: 1. Allegro Solar; Second, the solemn andante; Third, quiet and smooth scherzo; Fourth, "original light"; Five, exciting scherzo. With his unique command talent, abbado proved that he is not only outstanding, but also a great Mahler interpreter. Under his control, the strength and drama of music itself reached a high degree of balance and embodiment. This CD was rated as the best business card by Japan Recording Art Association ... Mahler's Fourth Symphony

Searle conducts the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra.

The fourth symphony was composed in 1899- 190 1 and premiered in Munich on October 29th. The musical basis of the work is a song "The Joy of the Whole Kingdom Belongs to Us" in his own "The Devil's Horn of Teenagers". Mahler once explained this work as follows: In the first three movements, there is a higher level of quiet and serious atmosphere, which is strange to us and makes people feel inexplicable chilling and even creepy. In the last movement, Life in the Kingdom of Heaven, children tell us what this means. This work includes four movements: first, slow and leisurely; Second, exercise slowly; Third, full of deep peace; Fourth, it is very pleasant and comfortable. Searle's handling here is a bit cold, but people can clearly hear unparalleled performance and noble and gorgeous timbre from the records. This edition of CD was rated as a three-star business card with flowers by Penguin Record Guide. In addition, the recorded version of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by abbado was also rated as the best business card by Japanese recording art. ..

Mahler's Eighth Symphony (Thousands of People)

Hurd, Connor and others sang.

Sotti conducted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Vienna choirs.

Mahler's Eighth Symphony is called Symphony for a Thousand People because its official performance requires a large orchestra, three choirs, two mixed voices and a group of children's voices, eight singers and an organ, so that thousands of people are participating in the performance in the orchestra pit of the concert hall. The unprecedented momentum makes people wonder if Mahler has gone too far. At least in Mahler's time, such doubts were common. Today, concert or record listeners who are used to modern sound conditions will cheer for it! What's more, after all, in this sound frenzy, there is still a trickle of real music flowing. Even in the noise and commotion in the first part, the lyrical singing like clouds floating on the rough sea is quite charming. What's more, the second part, which is very long behind, is more varied and colorful than the first part, such as music interest, atmosphere, voice, band voice and even some paragraphs are beautiful.

Mahler's Song of the Dead Baby

Ferrier sings

Walter conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

The vocal suite "Song of the Dead" (for contralto and orchestra) was written in 1902 and set to music according to the poem of German poet Luckert. 1906, Mahler's youngest daughter died unfortunately. Mahler once lamented in grief: "The death of my beloved daughter is really a harbinger of this song." This divertimento is very sad and touching. Ferrier's timbre and her touching sincerity in singing should be said to be the best person to sing Mahler's songs. Her repertoire and the singing of Song of the Earth are excellent. Although the recording of this CD is a little old, it is still rated as the best business card by Japanese recording art. In addition, the recorded version of the new Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Barbieroli is also rated as a three-star business card with flowers by Penguin Records Guide.

Mahler's Fifth Symphony

Barbieroli conducts the British New Philharmonic Orchestra.

It includes three parts, the first part: 1. funeral March; Second, exciting storm allegro; Part II: Part III, Scherzo; Fourth, Allegro; The third part: 5. Allegro, humorous and fresh. This version of Barbieroli's recording is his most infectious interpretation, which touched many people with its unique speed and beauty, and was rated as a three-star business card with flowers by Penguin Record Guide. In addition, the recorded version of London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Tenstedt was rated as the best business card by Japanese recording art. ..

Mahler's The Devil's Horn of Youth

Schwartz, Fisher-Dieskau and others sang.

Searle conducts the London Symphony Orchestra.

The Devil's Horn for Teenagers, the lyrics are selected from the collection of German folk songs of the same name edited by German writer brentano. Mahler chose some of them and wrote a suite (with piano and band, each 12, 24 * *). This is a recorded version of the band accompaniment. In this vocal divertimento, there are very sad melancholy and yearning for the ideal "heaven". Schwartz and Fischer Dieskau's singing is very sincere and moving. This version conducted by Searle is the most outstanding version in a series of records in Europe, and it was rated as the best business card by Japanese record art.
