Yu Guangzhong (192810/October 21~ 20171February 14) is a famous contemporary writer, poet, scholar and translator. Because my mother was originally from Wujin, Jiangsu, she also called herself "Jiangnan". 1947 graduated from Nanjing YMCA Middle School, entered the Foreign Languages Department of Jinling University, 1949 transferred to the Foreign Languages Department of Xiamen University, and 1952 graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Taiwan Province Provincial University.
1959 Master of Arts, University of Iowa. He has taught at Soochow University in Taiwan Province Province, Taiwan Province Normal University, Taiwan Province University and Taiwan Province Political University. 1974- 1985, professor of Chinese Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and concurrently head of Chinese Department of United College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong for two years. From 65438 to 0985, he served as a professor and lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan, among which he served as dean of the College of Literature and director of the Institute of Foreign Languages for six years.
