College students' self-report: Why are universities getting more and more confused?

Before, the goal has been very clear, and it has been very fulfilling. As a farmer's child, I know that only reading can change my destiny. In high school, I worked hard around the words "going to college" almost all the time. I clearly remember that when I got the college admission notice, my grandmother went out more often, my mother laughed more often and there were more guests at home. And I also have the opportunity to walk out of the small county where 18 lives for the first time and feel the wonderful outside.

However, college is different from my previous imagination. Lots of spare time, little homework and simple exams. If you don't take part in some extracurricular activities, it must be boring. In ignorance and fearlessness, I participated in the election of class committees, the selection of student union cadres, and the recruitment of new societies. Finally, I became a member of the Discipline Inspection Committee in my class, an official of the Student Union and a member of the Literature Club of Bai Fei Newspaper. Every day, my spare time is filled with meetings and activities. I am really busy listening to the arrangement of my seniors and doing everything in a down-to-earth manner. In mass organizations, there is no loneliness, but only honors such as "excellent class cadres", "party activists", "excellent league members" and "third-class scholarships". When I first came, I was very satisfied. It seems I have everything I need.

In the last semester of sophomore year, various societies were in full swing to "grab people". Out of their love for literature, they felt that they were not suitable to work in the student union and were unexpectedly elected as newspaper presidents. As the head of a community, I am very tired and it is not easy to bear a lot! During the year, I have no spare time, no weekends, and even stay at school to edit the periodicals undertaken by the newspaper. This year, focusing on "going out", we got in touch with campus media such as Jiangxi School Media Alliance and actively participated in related activities. Thanks to the efforts of all members, this newspaper was honored to be rated as "Top Ten Campus Media in Jiangxi Province" and "Three-Star Member Media of China University Media Alliance", and won the titles of "Advanced Community Leader", "Excellent Editor", "Scholarship for Community and Student Work" and the third prize of original poetry of "Grain Rain Poetry Society" in Nanchang.

In college, people are used to judging a person's success by what position he holds or what prize he wins. Maybe in the eyes of some students, I have retired. After the transition in June+10 last year, I completely became an ordinary student. From time to time, some students ask me: Why don't you run for the post of minister or chairman of the social service committee? How about being the editor-in-chief of the school magazine? ..... I told them: I am a junior, I just want to have a good rest, study hard and live for myself.

Confusion is a state of life, and everyone has different periods and environments. You are a university, and some people are confused until they graduate. Being confused in advance is a good thing, and dealing with it correctly can make you start another stage of your life earlier. Come on!
