Poet's language style?

Liu Yuxi was a unique poet in the Tang Dynasty. In the mid-Tang poetry world, his poems are neither like the sudden emergence of Han Yu nor the simplicity of Bai Juyi, but unique and self-styled. Liu Liu Yu Xi's poems have the highest achievements in three categories: political satirical poems, which have profound implications and are pungent and sharp. Nostalgic poems are all forms of law, sad and full of emotion. As for Zhi Zhu's Ci, Yang Liuzhi's Ci and Langtaosha's Ci, etc. He made it by studying folk songs, and the lively waves were fresh and natural, washing away the habits of literati.

Generally speaking, Liu Yuxi's political views are progressive, knowledgeable and keen on social and political observation. He writes poems, pays attention to conception, selects materials and shapes images, mostly from expressing rich and profound thoughts; Therefore, the world commented that "Liu Yuxi's poems are mainly about meaning".

Many of his poems either criticize the disadvantages of the times, satirize the powerful, or eulogize the Pingfan War to express the desire for reunification; Or describe your political career, showing a sense of righteousness; Deeply conceived. In addition, due to the use of nostalgia, chanting and other forms, the use of metaphors, symbols, allegories and other means, this sentence, truth is illusory, feelings are in the scene, so it appears refined and implicit. Such as the famous article Wuyi Lane. Liu Yuxi's nostalgic poems often only choose the scenery and details in a corner, but they are not long, rich in meaning and have an implicit beauty.

Liu Yuxi's political satires, besides being pungent and sharp, also have these characteristics, such as "offering flowers to gentlemen" and "revisiting Du Xuanguan". Satire poems like this are often intended to be puns, satire, twists and turns, more poetic and meaningful. Su Zhe in the Song Dynasty once said that Liu Yuxi's poems were "meaningful and full of twists and turns", and Wang Fuzhi in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties also said that Liu Shi was "deeper than a shadow stab", all of which refer to these characteristics. And Liu Yuxi's "deeper than the shadow stab" is also reflected in his poems about objects, such as the white eagle, the mosquito-gathering ballad, the hundred tongues, etc., which are sharp-edged and aggressive, but far-reaching because of the way of implication.

Liu Yuxi is also a famous materialist philosopher in the Tang Dynasty, so his poems are often a combination of image and philosophy. In many vivid poetic images, the poet's observation and reflection on social life are often reflected, and the philosopher's thought sparks are shining. There are many philosophical poems in Liu's poems. Although I have no intention to discuss philosophical thoughts, my opinions are incisive and enlightening. For example, poems in nine works, such as Nostalgia in Jinling and Nine Poems on Langtaosha, poetize profound philosophy with beautiful language and vivid images; These famous sayings and sentences are dotted in his poems, which makes his poems both aesthetic and philosophical.

Wang Changling is famous for his four unique skills, and is known as the "Poet King Jiangning". He is good at refining and concentrating intricate events or profound and graceful feelings, turning the short characteristics of quatrains into advantages: fewer words and more meanings, and more tolerant of chanting and thinking. His frontier poems are full of positive spirit, homesickness and farewell poems, with bright rhythm and lyrical style, which is more famous for its sincerity and profundity. There are more than 80 existing poems/kloc-0, among which The Collection of Wang Changling was compiled in Ming Dynasty.
