The poems written by Han Yu in Chaozhou are as follows:
1. "Moving to Languan from the Left"
A letter was written to the nine heavens in the morning and was demoted to eight thousand people on Chaozhou Road in the evening. If you want to eliminate evil things for the saint, you are willing to cherish your remaining years! Where is Yun Heng's Qinling family? The snow embraces the blue and the horse stops moving forward. I know that you came from afar with some intention, so that you can take me back to the river bank.
2. "Wu Guanxi met with Tubo"
The people of Errong are not miserable, Hunan is close to the ground and safe. I have committed such a heavy crime now and have no hope of recovery. I have to go straight to Chang'an Road for eight thousand miles.
3. "Roadside Weir"
Piles of roadside weirs, one after another. Welcome me out of Qinguan and send me into Chuze. It is covered by thousands of mountains and separated by thousands of miles of water. My Lord listens and governs diligently, and uses the sun and the moon to illuminate it. I am sorry for my foolishness, but my sins can be forgiven. Why should we welcome you back home? The fate is so smooth.
4. "Eating Quheyi"
Watching Quheyi in the morning, I felt sad and hurt myself. Crows nest in the trees in the courtyard, and swallows fly on the eaves. And I have a serious crime, and I am alone for thousands of miles. Relatives suddenly became obedient, and pictures and history abandoned Zongheng. I bear great righteousness to my friends below, and I am proud of my destiny when I am alone. Killing oneself will not help, so what is the use of rebirth?
5. "Longli"
But I asked Longtou, how far away is Chaozhou? When will the time come and how will the local customs be the same again? The official of Tong lowered his hands and smiled, why did the official ask so stupidly? For example, if an official lives in the capital, how can he know about Soochow? Traveling to the official country of Soochow, officials have their own freedom. Chaozhou bottom place? Guilty is the current. Fortunately, I didn't commit the crime again. How did you know that? Now that the official has arrived, what should he do if he suddenly asks?
