Youth fellowship is different from youth worship or youth gathering. Unfortunately, many churches often confuse the two. People think that it is the job of the youth association to get together at a fixed time every week. In fact, the youth party is included in the youth fellowship, but it is far from replacing the youth fellowship. Youth fellowship needs sharing and communication among fellowship members. No matter in spirit or in life, members of the fellowship should establish a relationship of mutual love. If party worship focuses on the worship of God and the cultivation of brothers and sisters, then fellowship should focus on encouraging everyone to establish each other in a loving relationship. Therefore, everyone is required to participate in the service and everyone should be cultivated. Youth fellowship requires the activities of the fellowship to be colorful, so as to meet the different needs of each brother and sister in the fellowship, give full play to their different talents, and make them more interested in the services and activities of the fellowship, find their place in the fellowship and have a complete sense of belonging. For a fellowship and a church, a sense of belonging is very important, and it plays a very important role in commitment. Young people come to the church and find the youth fellowship, just like returning home. Here, they can learn the truth of the Bible and feel the great love of the Savior. Since the youth fellowship is a fellowship, it must require the members of the fellowship, and there are special requirements for the members, that is, they must all be young people, at least most of them are young people. I have seen the Youth Fellowship of a church. About half of them are white-haired, and the rest are almost all over 30 years old. On the contrary, young people are in the minority. Second, how to organize youth fellowship A church must solve three problems to organize youth fellowship: the members of the fellowship, the organization and leaders of the fellowship, and the external environmental problems such as the location, time and method of the fellowship. First of all, the organization of youth fellowship should be approved by the competent pastor or church Committee. After approval, the establishment of the Youth Association can be reported at the end of the party or at other times, and the members who participate in the Youth Association are required. Generally speaking, the members participating in the Youth Fellowship should be young people around the age of 18-45, both believers and young Taoist friends. Sometimes, the author feels very strange: in a big church with thousands of people, there are many young people, but the leaders of the church always have various reasons not to carry out youth work and form youth fellowship. I don't know why. Finally, we must solve the problem of the time, place and way of youth networking activities. Because young people have different characteristics from old people, this determines the particularity of their activities. Generally speaking, most young believers have formal jobs or have to complete a considerable amount of studies, and time is very tight at ordinary times. Therefore, youth networking activities are held on weekends. This is convenient for many young believers who go to school or work or have families. They can not only come to church after a busy week, but also have time to share and communicate with everyone in the Lord. Through activities, I get strength and help from the Lord, and I also take responsibility and encourage each other with my brothers and sisters, and will not delay the rest of my weekend vacation with my family. The activity place is usually in the church. However, a qualified church may want to be in an inclined hall or other legal venues. Because young people are lively and not bound by tradition; They are not satisfied with the traditional way of worship and gathering, and because the youth fellowship pays attention to communication and sharing, the benches in the church are generally long chairs, which is not conducive to communication before and after. However, some remedial measures can be taken. For example, the church where the author works usually meets in traditional ways such as preaching and singing poems, but then there are group activities such as traffic meetings, prayer meetings, English groups and worship groups, which breaks the traditional pattern of the church. In some churches that emphasize etiquette, it is best not to have activities in the main hall. The venue should be clean, spacious and bright, giving people a relaxed and happy feeling. Don't be too serious, it will give young people a feeling of depression, especially the "new and new human beings" in the 2 1 century. They hate the heavy and serious atmosphere. Activities can be varied and eclectic, but we must distinguish between regular activities and special activities. Generally speaking, regular activities are mainly about an hour of youth worship and gathering, and it is best to set aside about half an hour for other activities during or after the gathering. In case of major festivals or special circumstances, you can change the way of activities at any time. Timely action is more lively. Third, how to lead the youth fellowship This is for the leaders of the youth fellowship organization. In addition to the high demands on the faith and conduct of the youth fellowship leaders, the youth fellowship leaders should also pay attention to the following requirements. Obviously, the youth fellowship is a fellowship with a strong sense of participation, so the leader of the fellowship must not pretend to be a leader and tell other youth fellowship members what to do, but should discuss and coordinate some things. Most like Jesus, it forms an inner circle of disciples, usually activists in youth fellowship and responsible colleagues in various groups or activities in fellowship. This can strengthen the sense of belonging of each member and take care of everyone's needs. As for the criteria for grouping, they are different, and we should adjust measures to local conditions. The author's church is basically divided by interests. There are also some churches that are divided by age. In short, the standards should be clear and unified to meet the different needs of members. Clarify the diversity of youth networking activities. Leading youth friendship, activities must be diverse. Of course, it is essential to preach the truth of God and to lead and cultivate young believers spiritually. Therefore, the main activity of fellowship should be gathering and worshiping or studying the scriptures and preaching. Generally, it accounts for about one-third to half of the whole activity time. However, the party must take into account the characteristics of young people. It is best for the speaker to be a young priest or a popular person among young believers. The preaching time should not be too long, the content should closely focus on the theme of youth interest, and it should be substantial, vivid and healthy. It is best to have a continuous theme, and you can search for classics on a special topic or a special book. Singing poetry is also an important part. Young people like gospel poems with bright and relaxed melody, and the lyrics should not be too elegant and obscure. In recent years, popular worship and praise methods have won the favor of young people. I remember that when the youth fellowship was just established in my church, it was a beautiful and simple "Jesus I love you" that touched everyone present. Later, at almost every party, everyone had to choose some hymns that young people liked to worship and praise. The church followed the trend and published a collection of short songs called "Worship and Praise", which was well received by young believers and in short supply. In addition to the main activities such as gathering, the fellowship should also carry out group activities according to the characteristics of teenagers. Group activities will be held immediately after the party. The number of people in each group shall not exceed twenty, and the leader shall be elected.
