A Summary of Appreciation of English Classical Poetry

This booklet collects dozens of short English poems that the editor thinks are more distinctive. This episode only accepts short poems to facilitate reading, so readers can browse at will in their spare time and get whatever they want. The content and style of poetry anthology should be as diverse as possible to arouse reading interest and meet the hobbies of different readers.

In addition, the purpose of this booklet is to discuss poetry as much as possible, so that readers can feel and taste it themselves. Therefore, the life of the poet and the background of poetry creation are generally not introduced. Of course, a drop in the ocean, many limitations of a booklet are self-evident, but it is quite crucial that perhaps readers' interest can be born from this, which is exactly what editors expect.

In order to facilitate readers' reading and appreciation and improve their English level, this book provides translations of selected poems and short notes and comments. Poetry cannot be expressed, and the above is for readers' reference only. Most of the poems are translated by editors, except for a few poems with noted sources. The concentrated content is only a general classification and guidance, and it is by no means a strict definition of poetry (in fact, poetry refuses to be classified, just like satirical poetry, it also involves life and inspires people).
