National mourning is the tenth of Qu Yuan's nine songs. This is a sad song to mourn the soldiers killed in Chu, which consists of two parts.
The theme of "national mourning" is ingenious. The poet focused on the process and scenes of fierce fighting. Use metaphors to describe the enemy's strength; Exaggerate and personify the battlefield atmosphere. These are all to highlight the patriotic passion of soldiers who died for their country. The poet praised the heroism of "national mourning" from the perspective of the total annihilation of the whole army, and had the romantic pride of "dancing for unity, always having ambition".
There are seven words in the poem, and the fourth word in each sentence is "Xi", which divides the sentence into two equal parts. Some are juxtaposed, such as "Fuck Angkor" and "Nailed by Rhinoceros", and some are inherited, such as "supporting jade" and "drumming", which not only makes the meaning of poetry more complete and full, but also enhances the sense of rhythm of poetry. The poet also uses intertextuality to express: "If you can't get out, you won't retreat, and the plain is suddenly far away", which constitutes a long and soothing aria.
