SSAT is divided into four parts: writing, reading, speaking and mathematics.
Among them, writing is just an essay. Now it seems that the topic can be either one or the other, and you can't score, but a scanned copy of your answer sheet will be sent to the school together with your report card.
In the other three parts, each correct answer gets 1 point, no answer gets 0 point, and the wrong answer gets 0.25 point (all are single choice).
Then convert this score into the final score. The final score of each part is between 500 and 800. In other words, even if you don't answer any questions or answer all the mistakes, your score is 500 points.
So the final total score is between 1500 and 2400.
The reading part is reading comprehension, about 6-7 articles at a time, and there is usually a poem among them. 40 multiple-choice questions, 40 minutes.
The math section is divided into two sections, each with 25 questions and 30 minutes.
Vocabulary ***60 questions, which take 30 minutes, are divided into synonym questions and analogy questions.
There seems to be an extra test now. Extra tests don't count.
