Venus and Jupiter are the brightest celestial bodies besides the sun and the moon. Venus is the closest planet to the earth, and Jupiter is the king of the nine planets in the solar system. Venus is a dark star (Pleiades), with a horizon of about 16 degrees, which is clearly visible to the naked eye; Jupiter, famous for its colorful stripes and the great red spot parallel to the equator, is located at a low altitude in the southwest after sunset, which is darker than Venus.
