Judge chapter 10

Judges 10 Israel cried out to the Lord and said, "We have sinned against you; For we have forsaken our God and served the Baals. The Lord said to Israel, "Did I not save you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites and the Philistines? Sidon, Amalek and Maon also oppress you. You cried out to me, and I saved you from their hands. You abandoned me to serve other gods! So I won't save you again. Go and shout to the god you choose; When you are in trouble, let him save you! " The Israelites said to the Lord, "We have sinned. Treat us as you see fit. Please help us today. " So the Israelites put away the foreign gods among them and served the Lord. The Lord was troubled because of the suffering of Israel. (Judge 10: 10- 16 and this edition)

1. The Israelites were slaves in Egypt, but God loved them. From leaving Egypt and walking in the wilderness to entering Canaan, God has done countless signs and wonders for the Israelites to see. But the hearts of the Israelites have been tempted by Satan, and they always abandon God again and again to serve foreign gods. So, time and time again, God raised the outsiders they served to oppress them, and let them find that what they were oppressed again and again was not peace and happiness. Make the Israelites realize that only the Lord is their God, and can help them and make them return to the God who has always led them.

2. We were originally people who lived in sin and had nothing to do with God. But God loves us, leads us through the church, lets us see God's magical creation work, and lets us experience God's wonderful work for ourselves. So that we can serve and worship God forever. But our hearts, like the Israelites, do not respond to God's work, but to the material world. Therefore, Satan is often deceived by the desires of the body, obeys the selfish desires of the body and serves the body, but the result is pain and misfortune. However, when we turn to and serve God, God will give us unexpected peace and joy.
