[Tang Dynasty] Du Fu
The rivers and mountains are beautiful in Chiri, and the spring breeze is fragrant with flowers and grass.
Swallows fly when the mud melts, and mandarin ducks sleep in the warm sand.

Effectiveness

Appreciation
"Quatrain" was written by Du Fu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. It depicts the bright and harmonious spring scenery in the Huanhua River area of ??the thatched cottage, and expresses the poet's love for spring.
The whole poem describes the scenery, one sentence for each scene. "Chiri" means spring. The poet starts the whole poem with "Chi Ri", highlighting the characteristics of the warm sunshine in spring and the prosperity of all things, so that the scenery described in the poem is organically combined into one, forming a bright and harmonious three-dimensional spring scene.
The first two sentences use words such as "chiri", "country", "spring breeze" and "flowers and grass", thick lines outline the bright spring scenery, and at the end of the sentence, "beautiful" and "fragrant" are used to highlight the poet's strong feelings. Feel.
The last two sentences are close-up pictures of fine brushwork. "Nudong" and "Shanuan" echo "Chiri", and "fly" and "sleep" are used to describe the swallows and the flying orioles, one up and down, Movement and stillness, busyness and leisure, complement each other.
Author
Du Fu (712-770), also known as Shaoling Yelao, was the greatest realist poet in the Tang Dynasty. Because he once served as a member of the Ministry of Inspection and Engineering, he was called Du Gongbu in his later life. After the Song Dynasty, he was revered as the "Sage of Poetry" and was called "Li Du" together with Li Bai. Many excellent works express deep sympathy for the poor people, are profound in content, boldly expose the social contradictions at that time, and show the historical process of the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline, so they are called "the history of poetry". In terms of art, he is good at using various poetry forms, especially rhythmic poetry. He has various styles, but mainly melancholy. His language is refined and he has a high degree of expressive ability.
