Although the breeze is thin and difficult to blow me, the moon shines on people.

Ice can't break the running water, and dead wood will spring again.

The ice can't stop the running water, and the dead wood will revive one day. Metaphor difficulties can't stop, and desperate things will have hope ~ be optimistic.

A simple sentence can tell us that nothing is absolute, and eventually there will be a slight turn for the better. Maybe this turning point will make you wait for a long time, but as long as there is a turning point, there must be hope, so you can't give up anything too early, and the despair is that you will never wait for that small turning point, which may make you regret it for a lifetime.

I don't think we should be too persistent about things and give up too early. At that time, I felt that dead wood could really make a comeback in spring, so I would rather believe that there would be a turn for the better in the end than give up and despair prematurely.
