Atwood studied at the University of Toronto from 65438 to 0959. During her college years, she was taught and guided by famous teachers such as northrop frye.
1962 received a master's degree in literature from Radcliffe College, Massachusetts, USA.
From 1962 to 1963, 1965 to 1967, she studied for her doctorate at Harvard University twice.
After graduation, 1964 to 1965 worked as an English lecturer at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Later, she worked as a "resident writer" in many universities in Canada, the United States and Australia.
Now, she lives with her husband, Graeme Gibson, and her daughter on a farm in Ontario, Canada. Atwood/kloc-published his first poem at the age of 0/9. She is good at raising her daily experience to a metaphysical level. Her poems are not only exquisite and insightful, but also influential in Canadian and British and American poetry circles, and have won many important literary awards.
Since the publication of 1969' s first novel Edible Woman, her works have won awards frequently, which has also won her a wide international reputation. Her three excellent novels, The Maid's Tale (1985), Cat's Eye (1988) and Alias Grace (1996), were nominated for the Booker Prize three times, but failed to do so. Heaven rewards diligence, and her tenth novel, The Blind Assassin, finally won her the highest literary prize.
