Brief introduction of Duyun peach carving
Duyun peach carving is a traditional art form of Han nationality. It uses peach pit as the carrier and makes various peach pit products by traditional handicraft carving. Peach carvings are widely spread in Du Yun Village and its surrounding areas in Siyang County, Jiangsu Province. It originated in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. 12004 Duyun peach carving was included in the pilot project of provincial national folk culture protection. In 2009, it was listed in the first batch of Jiangsu intangible cultural heritage expansion projects, and it is applying for the national intangible cultural heritage list.
