Peacock flies southeast, with more than 350 sentences and 1700 words, is the earliest long narrative poem in the history of China literature. This poem first appeared in "A New Ode to Yutai", titled "Ancient Poems for Jiao Zhongqing's Wife", and the author was "Unknown Man". Yuefu Poetry Collection accepted this poem entitled "Jiao Zhongqing's Wife", and later generations took the first sentence of this poem entitled "Peacock flies southeast". Through twists and turns, vivid characters, vivid language and meticulous description, it tells the touching story of a loving couple who were forced by feudal parents to give up their love and separated, and finally both died, fighting against feudal ethics with their lives. It is very ideological and artistic, and represents the highest achievement of narrative poetry in Han Yuefu.
With legendary plot, romantic color and simple and vivid language, Mulan Poetry describes the story of a young woman named Mulan disguised as a man and joined the army for her father. The focus of the work is not the cruelty of war, but the creation and praise of Mulan's image. The image of Mulan has become an important spiritual motivation and action model for later women to strive for liberation. Mulan Poetry makes good use of overlap and parallelism in narration, which makes the article more energetic and charming in harmony. At the end of the poem, the metaphor of "two rabbits walking beside the ground, Ann can tell whether I am a male or a female" is light, smart and novel, which coincides with the protagonist's state of mind of not asking for anything in return, but asking for love, and is a wonderful pen. Beautiful sentences and metaphors can be seen everywhere in the poem, which makes this poem shine like a colorful flying rainbow.
