Why do literati write poems?

Literary works reflect the author's personal will and are influenced by the background of the times in which the works are located. I couldn't get what I wanted, so I turned to poetry and placed my deepest blessing between the lines of the poem.

In many poems, what seems to be the plot of a love story on the surface is often of higher significance. In ancient mythology, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl were blocked by the Queen Mother, so they could not meet each other. Every year, they can only meet by kind magpies on Qixi Bridge. This is a well-known fairy tale.

The author lived in the era of warlords with social unrest and wars. During the period when free will was suppressed by powerful forces, the author created this work, hoping that the life that can't be realized in reality can exist in the mythical world in heaven, and further rewrite the legend in the poem, so that the cowherd and weaver girl who love each other can accompany each other and walk hand in hand to realize their free and beautiful love-that is, it reflects the poet's own desire to break the darkness of the times and a bright future.
