Pushkin's English poem "Desire"

dream

Alexander Pskin

Alexander Pushkin

I shed tears; My tears-my comfort;

I am silent; My noise disappeared,

My soul, sinking in the shadow of depression,

There is bitter ecstasy hidden in its depths.

I don't regret my short life dream-

Disappeared in the dark, empty ghost!

I only care about the damage caused by my love,

Let me die, but only in love!

Tears-tears are my comfort,

Silence-complaints are silent,

My soul is in the shadow of depression,

There is bitter joy hidden in the depths of the shadow.

I don't lament the relentless disappearance of life dreams-

The phantom of nothingness disappears into the darkness!

I only care about the blow to my love,

Let me die, but please die in love!
