Su Shi's last poem

Su Shi's last poem is "Lushan Mountain misty rain Zhejiang tide".

As follows:

The misty rain on Lushan Mountain in Zhechao is a seven-character quatrain written by Su Shi, a poet in the Northern Song Dynasty. The poem is about the misty rain in Lushan Mountain and the tide in Zhejiang Province. I haven't seen it before, so I feel that I have Qian Qian's absolute regret, which I can't get rid of. Once I went to see it one day, I felt nothing new. I have never seen it before, always full of yearning and expectation, and then I try my best to pursue it and realize it.

Once you see it with your own eyes, you are there, you get it, you have it, but it feels normal. This poem is full of Zen, and the whole poem shows three courses of pursuing truth in life. The first sentence "misty rain in Lushan Mountain, tidal wave in Zhejiang Province" is an ideal goal, and every pursuer is haunted by it. Anyway, we must have a look. As the poem says, Lushan is misty and rainy, and Zhejiang is tidal.

If you haven't seen it, I feel that I have Qian Qian's absolute regret, and there is no way to eliminate it. Once I went to see it one day, I felt nothing new. Misty rain is still the misty rain of Lushan Mountain, and the tide is still the tide of Zhejiang. Never seen it before, always full of yearning and expectation, and then strive to pursue it and realize it. Once I saw it with my own eyes, I was there, I got it, I had it, but I felt normal.

In this regard, the secular sigh is: "That's all!" Zen has the opposite attitude. The meditator will give a heartfelt admiration: "Exactly!" Ordinary people always imagine that Elysium is 108,000 miles away, and even when they arrive in Elysium, they can't feel the fun. For them, their daily life, familiar places and learned things are not wonderful.

The possession of one thing leads to the loss of the stimulus to another, so that you are trapped in a vicious circle of boredom-pain-boredom forever, and the spiritual wandering never stops. Liberated enlightened people, although originally the same as ordinary living space, can turn daily life and familiar scenery into a paradise.

Cherish what you have, turn your ideal into reality, and never indulge in a mirage. In this way, when you dress, eat and talk, you can feel the existence of real and vivid life silently. This poem is full of Zen, which is generally considered as a Zen poem. The whole poem shows three courses of pursuing truth in life.
