representative works
Depth is a long-awaited book. This is neither a collection of poems nor a collection of essays, let alone a collection of essays. This is a person's imagination in many ways. But this is still not a finished book. However, with this book, it is possible for those who give up respect to start a modest dialogue.
Surprisingly, since 1992 wrote Tribute, the number of writing paths has changed. Although the publishing industry flourished to the point where it was sometimes not serious enough, surprisingly, he never had a chance to concentrate on writing. Some readers who know Nishikawa's works, when they accidentally read his works, often think that his works are mixed, but he knows what he is doing. People's Literature Publishing House 1997 published a book entitled Selected Poems of Xichuan, edited by 1996. Later, this book was renamed "Poems of Xichuan", and was reprinted in 1999. This book is very different from that one.
Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House 1997 published "To this effect", which included several long poems of Xichuan. But the circulation of that book is limited. He made some changes in some places when he included those long poems.
Face life with a smile
The first "New Poetry International Poetry Award" was awarded. Poets Xichuan, Wang Xiaoni and Yu Jian all won the "New Star" Award for their novel works and outstanding achievements, which opened a new atmosphere for modern poetry in China. Nishikawa said in his speech that he has been questioned and scolded by insiders for eight years. "But I have never attacked anyone. The low-level turmoil in poetry is not worthy of my real anger. "
Nishikawa said that since 1996, he has been questioned, excluded, attacked and even abused by insiders. "This situation has been eight years today. This taste is uncomfortable, but fortunately I can face it calmly. "
Chen Chao, a poetry critic, said that Xichuan's so-called "being questioned and reviled by insiders" was mainly a dispute between "intellectual writers" represented by Xichuan and "folk writers" represented by Yu Jian. "'Folk Writing' thinks that Xichuan's poems ignore local historical feelings and show concern and pay attention to language games, which is a complete betrayal of poetry." Chen Chao believes that it is not important whether the language is colloquial, but the key is to touch the core of poetry.
Yu Jian, a poet, admitted that he had differences with Xichuan in creation, but denied attacking Xichuan. At the same time, he believes that "it is a good thing to have arguments, which can activate the cause of poetry".
Poems of Nine Kingdoms
19, poets from nine countries gathered in Beijing, and the 2006 Pamir Poetry Tour was officially launched. On the 22nd, 24 Chinese and foreign poets will leave for Pamirs to discuss "Contemporary Poetry under the Background of Globalization".
A small symbol of poetry
The foreign poets invited to take part in this poetry tour include the French sinologist and poet Sunderland, the poet Eliot Weinberg who published "19 Ways to See Wang Wei" in the United States, the Arab poet amjad Nasser, the Venezuelan poet Guerrero and the Japanese poet Shiraishi Kazo. China poets include Dodo, Munk, Ouyang He Jiang, surprisingly, Wang Jiaxin and Yongming Zhai.
Nishikawa, a poet who is one of the leaders of Zhongkun Pamir Literature Studio, the organizer, called it a truly small international poetry festival. Tang Xiaodu, a poetry critic, said in his speech on behalf of Zhongkun Pamir Literature Studio: "It is reasonable to think that this will not only be a festival, but also a small symbol of the existence and way of poetry in today's world." Foreign poets attending the seminar talked about their understanding of China's poems. Eliot Weinberg, an American poet, said, "The most important reason why the development of British and American poetry is different from other European countries is influenced by China's poetry, which can be traced back to Pound's Imagist Declaration in 19 1 1." German poet Gu Bin said that when he was 16 years old, he saw Li Bai's poems by chance, which made him give up his original theology and philosophy. He said, "China's poems have completely changed my life and my understanding and position on the world."
Poetry award
19, Nishikawa announced that Pamir Literature Studio will hold the first Zhongkun International Poetry Festival. He introduced that the Poetry Festival is held every two years, and an organizing committee composed of Xie Mian, Tang Xiaodu, Xichuan and Yongming Zhai has been established. There will be three awards, namely, China Poet Award, Foreign Poet Award and Sinologist Award, each with a prize of about 1 10,000 USD, which will be launched in 2006 and awarded at the end of the year.
Main idea
Surprisingly, the edge is the place to explain the world. Since the May 4th Movement, China poets have long wanted to modernize, and some even fantasized about having an international style. However, the subtext of this incident is that they hope to establish some connection with western poetry and complete the pursuit of self-modernization. However, under the background of globalization, the identity of poets has become a problem. What kind of poems does a China poet write in the context of internationalization? This problem is not only a poet's problem, but also a writer, painter and director's problem.
This time, different poets from nine countries will start to think and discuss this issue during a trip. China poets will communicate directly with foreign poets, which will inevitably force China poets to think more deeply about this issue, and choose to go hiking in Pamir, Xinjiang, perhaps because "the edge is the place to explain the world".
Personality assessment
Nishikawa's poems are tolerant, open and tend to be prosaic. They are awkward and absurd, mostly unknown villains or monsters, demon fairy, little old children and ghosts, which also confirms the lineage and inheritance of this stage. Nishikawa's poems make ordinary life strange and uncertain in content, but subtly cut the times. His fable forms and proverbs formed the concept of returning to the spirit of pure classicism, aesthetic autonomy and original writing.
Of course, Nishikawa's writing absorbed the essence of oriental classical culture. If Nishikawa inherits the modern literary tradition of Kafka, Borges and other masters, then Nishikawa is more pure and realistic than them, and this is purely based on a pure mentality.
Inadvertently giving up, fragments of life form fables, which make nightmares and games intersect, setbacks and satire form acquiescence and fusion, which makes the poem form specious expression, with dark meaning hidden behind it. If Dante pursues immortality, then Shakespeare pursues this life, and Kafka pursues nothingness. Surprisingly, people write only moments, which are illusory, embarrassing and absurd.

Poet Nishikawa: The travel in the book is also full of stories.
Nishikawa, director of the library of Central Academy of Fine Arts. The book is Reading Tang Poems.
Many years ago, a friend told me that his poem said "fallen leaves return to their roots", and then people said, what are you talking about? What does this mean? He said, "I'm not interested, but the leaves are covered with dust."
