What does Mingyuege mean?

Always waiting for tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow, how many tomorrows there are!

I wait for tomorrow to come every day, but nothing gets done and time is wasted.

If people in the world are affected by "tomorrow" like me, and the days go by, they will soon find themselves old.

Only by living in the present can we appreciate the joy of watching the river flow eastward in the morning and the sun setting westward in the evening.

How many tomorrows will there be in a hundred years? Please listen to my "Mingyue Song" and don't waste today's time anymore.

"Song of the Bright Moon" by Qian Fu of the Ming Dynasty

Tomorrow comes tomorrow, and there are so many tomorrows.

If I live until tomorrow, everything will be wasted.

Everyone in the world is tired of tomorrow, and tomorrow will be endless.

The rolling water flows eastward at dawn and dusk, and the sun falls westward in ancient times.

What will happen in a hundred years? Please listen to my song tomorrow. Extended information

Creative background:

The author Qian Fu is a weirdo. He especially loves to drink, and he also likes to "drink like crazy". He often used his drunkenness to criticize others, so many people didn't like him. But he is extremely righteous. Not only was he a good person, Qian Fu was also famous for his poetry. He has been a child prodigy since he was a child and can write articles at the age of seven.

Later he passed the imperial examination and went to the Hanlin Academy to compile and compose poems, which were regarded as the most prestigious poems in the world. However, after only three years, Qian Fu was tired of official life. He pretended to be seriously ill and stopped working. Although he has both talent and fame, and does not have the burden of an official position, Qian Fu never relaxes his demands on himself, but studies harder. "Tomorrow's Song" is his encouragement and demands on himself.
