2. Yu Xiuhua's forceful words, love poems and reflection on disability in daily life deeply attracted me.
I like reading these poems and essays by Yu Xiuhua. She and her works make me feel close. Every page of Moonlight in the Left Hand is permeated with courage, sincerity, love for words and a bitter humor. Yu Xiuhua said in her prose: There is no higher praise for life than a weed. It grows desperately, and after experiencing great trauma, it can arch out of the ground happily as usual. We know that she is telling us her own story.
I keep pulling out words, sentences and whole paragraphs that I want to quote and think about. This extraordinary collection of works by Yu Xiuhua is a collection of poems and poetic prose, which reflect each other and express the soul, soul and unique and delicate feelings.
