Why did you go out of Egypt for forty years?

God asked Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. It's a few days' journey from the wilderness, but it took 40 years, because although the Israelites experienced God's miracles many times in the wilderness, when they were in trouble, they kept blaming God and Moses because of their stubborn hearts, so they kept wandering in the wilderness, so that the four-day journey took 40 years.

Moses was not chosen by God, but prepared by God. The faithful God will fulfill his own words (Gen 15: 16). At that time, the Israelites cried out to God. Because no one thinks he has the ability to lead people away from Egyptian oppression. The hearts of Israelis are in a "wilderness" situation.

Moses, prepared by God, did not learn from the traditional worship of God in Israel, but only from the Egyptians. Without a set of knowledge of worshipping God, it is a "wilderness" situation. It was in this situation that Moses came before the Israelites and showed that God was with him by miracles. The cry of the Israelites shows that they have no hope for each other, but call on God.

When Jesus came to the Jews (his own place), although he performed miracles, they had Sadducees and Pharisees to rely on, although "he went to his own place, but his own people did not receive him." Although there are miracles to prove, he believes that his strength (miracle) comes from Beelzebub.

The present church is descended from Abraham, regardless of the number of people and different regions. Within all ethnic groups in Israel, like all tribes and ethnic groups in Israel in those days, they can "play their own flags" and live in their own tents (churches). The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting, each man to his own standard. Therefore, no tent can leave the flag of its own tribe, and no flag of its own tribe can leave its own flag.

At that time, the Israelis only knew their own flags, but they didn't know where to go. I don't know where to go because there is no road to the wilderness. At that time, the wail of the Israelis expressed that there was no way out. When Israel has a golden calf, it has a "singing voice". But this voice "Exodus 32: 18" Moses said, "This is not the voice of people winning the battle, nor is it the voice of people losing the battle. What I hear is the sound of people singing. "

Singing is just people's own joy and anesthesia. Why did Jesus say that those who mourn are blessed! Mourn because there is nothing to rely on, mourn those who sing to numb themselves. Because Christ, whom we can rely on, never has a title in the name of a person (because Moses predicted Christ) and is not qualified for pride. Having a proud title and an admirable qualification is not a "wilderness".

The Israelites went out of Egypt and crossed the Red Sea. (Exodus 14:2 1 Moses stretched out his stick to the sea, and the sea became dry land. Joshua 3: 13 when the priest stands on his feet in the middle of Jordan, ... he will be cut off and set up a base. The rod of Moses is the pillar of Israel, the Lord GOD. Crossing the red sea; When the staff sinks into the sea, so does God. There is an important understanding here, which concerns all of us who believe in Jesus. The land where the sea is located is lower than the shore, not higher than the shore. Crossing the Jordan River; The priest stood with his feet in the middle of the Jordan River, …

The land where the priest is located is also lower than the shore. So the position of the leader can only be lower than that of the shore. If his position is high, he will stand on the shore. If he is on the shore, he can't make people enter the "wilderness" because there is a red sea barrier. If he is on shore, he can't make people cross Jordan, conquer Jericho and enter the land of Canaan. And because the Jordan River has blocked people who want to go in.

Jesus talked with women about living water in the ancient city of Syrah. Jesus compared himself to water. Water in the Bible indicates grace. Without God's grace, there would be no salvation and no life. If we want to get water (grace), we can only sit in low places, not sit in high places and climb high branches; Wilderness and poverty (especially poverty in study) are linked together, poverty and humility go hand in hand, and humility is always despised by people.
