Shi Pingmei, a talented woman in the Republic of China, will not live beyond 27 years old. Why should her short life be painted with extremely cold colors?

Shi Pingmei was born in a scholarly family, loved by his parents, and had a very good childhood.

Shi Ming, the father of Juren, was a Juren in the late Qing Dynasty. Shi Pingmei was strictly taught to read and write from the age of 3. If the words she teaches are unfamiliar, even at night, don't let her fall asleep until she is familiar with them.

After Shi Pingmei went to primary school, her father instructed her to read the Four Books, The Book of Songs and other classical books. Soon, after her father went to work in Shanxi Library, she went to Taiyuan with her father, attended the primary school attached to Taiyuan Women's Normal University, and continued to study in Taiyuan Women's Normal University after graduation.

Under the influence of such a good family education and strong learning atmosphere in the school, Shi Pingmei's study is always among the best, which has laid a good foundation for Chinese. At the same time, she is smart and studious since she was a child, and she is a typical "schoolmaster". She was called a "talented woman" in middle school.

/kloc-at the age of 0/7, Shi Pingmei graduated from Taiyuan Women's Normal School with the support of his father and was admitted to Beijing Women's Normal School with excellent results.

In Beijing Women's Normal University, besides studying hard, Shi Pingmei began to write poems and essays. After the poem "Night Walk" was published in the school magazine, it emerged and its talent gradually showed.

The following year, Shi Pingmei met Gao, an outstanding student from Peking University, at the Shanxi Association. They are very kind and hit it off at first sight. Since then, they have kept close contact, talked about ideals and life, and gradually established a profound friendship.

Gao is a patriotic young man with ideas and ambitions. Under his influence, Shi Pingmei's thought made rapid progress and his literary talent became more and more obvious. After her long travel story "The Vague Afterglow" was published in the Morning Post Supplement, it became famous at one fell swoop and became a promising star in Beijing's literary world.

1923, Shi Pingmei, 2 1 year-old, was hired as a Chinese and physical education teacher in the middle school attached to Beijing Normal University after completing her studies in the women's normal school.

Unexpectedly, Shi Pingmei's proud confidant was high. When she was 23 years old and had just joined the work for 2 years, she received bad news.

Gao was wanted by Beiyang warlords for taking an active part in the revolution. 1925 suffered from acute appendicitis in March and died at the age of 29.

The sad news of Gao's death made Shi Pingmei grieve. At the high memorial service jointly organized by Peking University and the Shanxi No.1 Middle School Alumni Association, she wrote an elegiac couplet for the high topic:

The blue sky is boundless, and I know when I can meet you again.

There are more than ten pines and cypresses planted around the high tomb of Taoranting. Sad, Shi Pingmei and Gao zai's tombstone inscribed words for themselves all their lives:

I am a sword, I am a spark, I would like to live like lightning and die like a comet.

Later, Shi Pingmei also wrote more than ten essays to commemorate him.

In order to turn grief into strength, Shi Pingmei decided not to marry for life, and devoted himself to revolutionary activities to comfort his friends and the deceased.

With the support of his good friend Lu, Shi Pingmei cooperated with him in depth, editing progressive publications such as Jinghua Daily Supplement and Women's Weekly, taking this as a sword and stabbing the reactionary warlord's "heart".

1925 after the May 30th massacre in Shanghai, Shi Pingmei and Lu published a "special notice" in Women's Weekly, denouncing the crimes of the massacre.

1926, the Duan government created the "March 18th" tragedy, in which friends were killed and Lu was injured. In a rage, 24-year-old Shi Pingmei, after attending the memorial meeting held by Beijing Normal University for Liu Hezhen and others, wrote articles such as "Blood Corpse" and "Crying Jane" with a pen as a weapon, denouncing the atrocities of the reactionary warlords and showing his determination to follow the heroic spirit.

In addition, Shi Pingmei and his good friend Lu also edited Rose Weekly, a supplement to Beijing World Daily, and actively devoted themselves to literary creation such as poetry, prose and novels, and also made remarkable literary achievements, so they were called "famous poetesss in Beijing". Her masterpiece The Story of Pi Ma Si was written in this period, and it was highly praised.

Unfortunately, Shi Pingmei's creative path is only six years. 1September, 928, Shi Pingmei suffered from encephalitis and died young after being treated in Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
