Poetry Recitation "Hope" Poetry

Give me wings, give me wings,

I am the hope conceived in your heart!

I am like a silkworm that sheds its shell——

Finally bit through the net that I weaved;

I am like a cicada that was unearthed——

Finally saw Lu Meng and Yang Guang again.

I am like a bird that breaks out of its cage,

I am like a mast wall full of wind and sails...

I am like a singing dysprosium that leaves its string,

Howling and shooting forward...

Give me wings, give me wings,

I am hope, I want to fly!

My flying is an indomitable pursuit,

My flying is an indomitable singing.

Flying from the cold winter to the green fields of spring,

Flying from the dark night to the glow of dawn;

Flying from dreams to bright reality,

Flying from the desert to the vast ocean.

Beyond all gray barriers,

Get rid of all sorrow and despair.

Give me wings, give me wings,

My goal is far away.

Don’t be as delicate as a butterfly,

Don’t be as frivolous as a dragonfly,

Don’t be as casual as a dandelion,

Don’t be as hesitant as a migratory bird.

My wings can only be the wings of an eagle,

My yearning can only be the yearning of an eagle.

Let the wind and rain blow violently, let the mountains be high and the road be long,

My eyes are thousands of miles away, my heart is far away...

Give me wings, give me Wings,

I am hope, I want to fly!

I have experienced the turbid fog - I am awake,

I have broken through the invisible net - I am free.

The wind and sand cannot cover my eyes,

The cold current cannot destroy my ambition.

My feathers will be plump in fighting,

My muscles and bones will be strong in struggle.

Oh, the blue sky is vast because of me,

Ahead, the light of ideals shines...

Give me wings, give me wings,

I am the hope conceived in your heart!
