Yuquan Mountain is located at the foot of Xishan Mountain in Haidian District, Beijing, on the west side of the Summer Palace.

The mountain trend is northwest and saddle-shaped, with the depth of 1300m, the widest point from east to west of about 450m, and the elevation of the main peak of 100m.

Yuquan Mountain is named after the spring water.

Spring water gushed from the mountain gap, and the water rolled silver flowers, just like an emerald rainbow. Before the Ming Dynasty, there was a saying that Yuquan hung a rainbow, which was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Yanjing.

The "Jingxi rice" irrigated by Yuquan Mountain spring water is precious rice so far.

According to legend, Yelu Chute, the prime minister of the Yuan Dynasty, made ink from Yuquan water and named it "Yuquan New Ink", which is a first-class product.

In Yuquan Mountain, there are jagged rocks, gurgling streams, gurgling springs, gurgling flowing water and a treasure trove of geomantic omen.

Since the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, it has been a famous scenic spot in the suburbs of Beijing.

Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty liked the scenery of Yuquan Mountain very much and personally named the scenery in the garden "Sixteen Scenes". Every scene is named after four words, and every poem is written like this.

And left the following sigh:

This shows how colorful the scenery of Yufeng Mountain was.

Because Yuquan Mountain is closed to tourists, the only sixteen scenic spots we can see today are "Jade Peak Tower Shadow".

It is also the crowning touch of the Summer Palace.

On the Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace, you can overlook the Jade Peak Tower.

This is a poem by Emperor Qianlong about Jingming Garden, which describes the scenery of Jingming Garden in Yuquan Mountain, one of the "Three Mountains and Five Gardens".

Yuquan Mountain is located outside the Xiaodongmen of Yuquan Mountain in Haidian District, Beijing, and west of Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace. It is an important part of "Three Mountains and Five Gardens".

Jingming Garden covers an area of about 0.65 square kilometers and has six gates. There are more than 30 groups of large and small buildings and 4 pagodas with different shapes in the park.

The whole park is divided into Nanshan District, Dongshan District and Xishan District.

Nanshan District is the essence, with a series of fine scenic spots such as Palace District and Yuquan Lake, with mountains as the screen on both sides of the northwest, and Huazang Tower and Yufeng Tower dotted on the peaks.

Dongshan District includes the eastern foot of Yuquan Mountain and several small lakes. It is famous for its small waterscape and ends with the wonderful tower in the north.

Xishan District is open and flat, with Dongyue Temple, Shengyuan Temple and Liang Qing Zen Cave, forming a landscape feature dominated by religious buildings.

Jingming Garden was burnt down twice by British and French allied forces and Eight-Nation Alliance in 1860.

On May 25th, 2006, Jingming Garden, as an ancient building in Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

The ancient buildings of Jingmingyuan, which have experienced wind and rain, have been well restored and protected now, and they have a unique color in many gardens in the western suburbs of Beijing.
