Early in the morning, grandpa posted a pair of Spring Festival couplets on both sides of the door, and grandma hung small red lanterns on the holly tree at the door, just like the tree was covered with red persimmons. Every household also puts up Spring Festival couplets and hangs lanterns. In the evening, grandma cooked a delicious New Year's Eve dinner, and everyone ate around the table, talking and laughing. At night, the village becomes a paradise for firecrackers, a world of fireworks, and the sky is illuminated by fireworks. Some are like stars in the sky, some are like colorful chrysanthemums, some are like meteors falling from the sky, and more are like proud peacocks, dressing up the sky in colorful and beautiful ways.
