How does the idea of growing with the help of external forces turn into practice? Today I will use Maslow's demand model to show you. As we said before, Maslow's premise is that people's needs are divided into five levels, and only when the needs of the lower level are met will they want to meet the needs of the higher level (I personally think it is debatable among realistic people, because I found that even if people's needs at the lower level are not met, they can also produce higher needs, which is not the focus today, so I will not extend it). How does Maslow model apply to our daily work? This question is what I want to say most today. What is the lowest level in Maslow's model? This is a physiological and functional need. What are the physiological and functional needs in our daily life? "Alive" is just a sense of existence, which proves that you are still alive and that you still exist, that's all. Going up is that people need a sense of security. At work, what I'm doing now is just a job. Whether it is a sense of existence or a sense of work, it is just a "work mentality." Going up again, it begins to change. I call it a sense of professionalism. No matter what you do, you have professionalism and spiritual value, as well as a sense of responsibility, accomplishment and mission. Firefighters, for example, have to fight for their lives. Why do people still do it? Because living has the social value and significance of occupation; Moreover, civil aviation pilots don't have ejection chairs, so they should stick to their posts when the plane crashes, and they can't press the ejection button to escape like fighters. And doctors and nurses, such professional positions are really important. It is very important to have a book called Hippocratic Oath, which is the beginning of the professionalization of the whole western medicine. Every post in our work has a sense of responsibility and mission. This sense of professional responsibility has moved from the mentality of working to a higher level. For example, if I am in sales, I will try my best to achieve the set sales target. If I don't, it's my fault first. What's further up? That is a relatively high level. I call it "enterprising spirit". Enterprising people always think that any work they are doing now is part of my future career. Personally, at the age of 30, my colleagues and I said on the balcony at home, "It will take me five years to figure out what I want to do in my life." This is actually a stupid and low-level goal of myself. In fact, it took me seven or eight years to figure out what I want to do, what suits me and what I can do in the future. This is what I enjoyed today. I have understood this problem. When I encounter any difficulties in my life and work, I have a very strong psychological endurance. I just need to think, "What should I do if this company is mine?" This is my thinking habit for fifteen years.
So as I said before: if you are just a cat now, please enlighten yourself now and imagine yourself as a lion, even if you are temporarily asleep; If you are already a lion, but you are asleep, please enlighten me again and wake up quickly, majesty, majesty. Cats will only rub their owners' trouser legs and take a bite to eat, while lions will always have their own grasslands. When they wake up, they start running. When they are full, they enjoy the sunshine and play. "Awakening" and "awakening" mean that you need to realize that your current job is the beginning of your future career. If a person has the mentality of working, he must stare at his watch every day. He always enters the company at the last minute and leaves at the earliest after work. After a long time, his life is very tired and his personality will be distorted, which is not conducive to mental health. From today on, although you are still working, if you find your professional sense in this company, at least you will be enriched mentally, your actions will not be restricted by conditions, and you will have more opportunities for creativity and breakthrough in your work. In short, leaving room for your own spirit will make you full of spirituality at any time. Knowing that you have a future will make you feel at ease, not emotional, not even vegetarian, or even walking dead.
Another very important link in the work that needs to grow with the help of external forces is that you need a good tutor. Looking back on all my own growth process, there are already five or six people who are my nobles and my masters and mentors on the road of life. The first tutor was my grandfather, named Zhang (not Zhang Xueliang), the son of my grandfather in Kuomintang county, high flyers, a teacher, a primary school principal and landlord in the old society. When I was four years old in rural Hunan, my grandfather taught me to learn English, recite Tang and Song poems, watch the Three Kingdoms series, practice the calligraphy of Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan and Huai Su, and so on. Now I basically inherited his style of doing things. The second tutor is my music teacher Liu Hongzhi, who founded and conducted the "Blue Orioles" choir for 30 years and is over 80 years old this year. He compared the theme song of Water Margin with the original song he was familiar with fifty years ago, syllable by syllable. After that, he wrote three articles in succession and published them in the Legal Daily. He thinks that the composer Zhao Jiping can only be called "arranger" but not "composer" in Song of Heroes, because there are too few syllable changes, so it is called "composer" and "arranger". So the last time we celebrated the 30th anniversary of Shenzhen's reform and opening up, TanJing sang three songs by Zhao Jiping. I was at the scene, and Teacher Zhao Jiping was sitting under the stage. I don't think Zhao Jiping's works are "good Chinese songs" in the program, and he no longer dares to call himself a composer. This is my second teacher. From him, I read the character of an artist and the persistent pursuit of truth by an educator. To talk about the third mentor and noble person, it must be Yuan Xincheng, the chief operating officer of TCL. Before joining TCL, he was already a "National May 1st Medal Winner", and later he was the leading word-of-mouth general in China's home appliance industry. I followed him 12 years, and now most of my actual management ability comes from Yuan Xincheng's example. It is also because of him that I met Bao Zheng, an introductory tutor in the consulting industry. Mr. Bao is a doctoral supervisor of Peking People's University, a leading figure in China's management theory circle, and is known as "the closest person to Drucker in China", and one of the four founding partners of the consulting company. Since I studied under Mr. Bao, my theoretical knowledge and practical ability have risen to a new stage, including the later research and practice of Jack Trout's "positioning" theory, which has been inspired and affirmed by Mr. Bao. It was not until 200 1 year that I had the opportunity to meet Wang Mingfu, the current chairman of Hejun Consulting Co., Ltd., who is the highest leader of financial and business education and the current leader and master. Besides, famous teachers like Deng Delong, Wang Xingzhou and Zhou Kun are the most important mentors in my life. If I have a greater span than my peers in practice and theory, it is inseparable from the help of these mentors and nobles in my mind. Each of us should find an idol that we admire or even admire when we grow up. If you only rely on your own weak IQ, less than 30 years of eating experience, and if you can't stand on the shoulders of your predecessors, the road of life will easily lose its direction. Learning from the predecessors, asking for advice from the predecessors and finding your own mentor are the straight roads and shortcuts.
Today, I mainly talk about growing up with external force, practicing with external force, improving myself with people around me, improving my method and ability to solve problems with the help of the problems I am facing now, bravely facing problems, solving problems and crossing problems, and life will rise to a new stage. If you face more problems, your courage, courage and wisdom will further increase. Whether you practice by external forces, grow by the company, or consult based on questions, your potential will be fully released and replicated. Find the sense of professionalism, career and mission in your present job, and move from "work mentality" to "career pattern". Solved your personal problem, similar to the Hinayana thought of Buddhism. In the vegetable industry, if the company sells well, there are more and more customers, our service is getting better and better, our performance is getting better and better, and the influence of the company is getting bigger and bigger, which has changed the eating habits of many people. At this time, you will find that the company's business experience and values have influenced many people and made many people enter a healthier state of mind and body. This is your contribution to society inadvertently as an ordinary employee. Doing a good job and helping the company realize more social value will benefit the society unconsciously. Congratulations, at this point, you have entered the Mahayana realm. 20 12 September 10 (Teacher's Day)
