Zhong Ziqi: A native of the State of Chu in the Spring and Autumn Period, he was good at temperament and listening to the piano. According to legend, Boya, when playing the piano, can tell whether the sound of the piano depicts mountains or running water, so Boya was cited as a confidant. After his death, Boya once played the piano in front of his grave, and then he stopped playing.
Zhong You: A famous calligrapher and politician of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period. In Wei Wendi, he was as famous as Hua Xin and Wang Lang. He is quite accomplished in calligraphy. He is said to be the founder of regular script (lower case), and he is also called "Zhong Wang" with Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in Jin Dynasty.
Zhong Hui: Counselor and general of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period, and official of Si Tuleideng. He was appointed general against Wu. In 264, under the planning of Jiang Wei, Shu Han failed to send troops to rebel and was killed.
Zhong Rong: Zhong Wei, a literary critic in the Southern Dynasties. He wrote a monograph on poetry criticism, Shi Pin, which was mainly composed of five-character poems, and divided 122 writers from Han to Liang into three categories for comments, hence the name Shi Pin.
Zhong Shaojing: an official and calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. From officials to ministers in charge of land, household registration, financial revenue and expenditure and other affairs. His calligraphy is exquisite, he is good at regular script, and he is as famous as Ou Yangxun, another calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty.
Zhong Xiang: the leader of the peasant uprising army who occupied Dongting Lake in the Southern Song Dynasty, he claimed that it was not good to distinguish between the rich and the poor.
