Poetry Prose: Autumn

Liu Yuanzhao

I once wrote a poem called Autumn. The process of writing is the teaching process of preparing lessons and attending classes. It was a few months ago that I taught a group of "old days" Chinese and foreign free poems. How to teach? What is the clue? I've been thinking that day. During the lunch break, I read the famous works of Jin Kemu, and suddenly, the sentence "Don't write a poem if there is a meaning in it, and you don't have to write a poem if there is no poetry in it" made me realize. What is "poetry"? Not everyone can clearly explain the word that everyone talks about every day. My group of poems, with "poetry" as the key link, strung up the whole classroom. So what exactly is "poetry"? Although I am going to quote Teresa Teng's song "Poetry" as an image explanation in class, it is still abstract and not easy to understand for my classmates. While I was thinking hard, I continued to read famous works. A classic essay "Love" written by Zhang Ailing once caught my eye. Zhang Ailing's Love is not long, so I might as well copy it. It's true. There was a girl from a well-off family in a village, who was beautiful. Many people came to be matchmakers, but they didn't say anything. She was only fifteen or sixteen years old that year. It was a spring night, and she stood at the back door, holding the peach tree in her hand. She remembered that she was wearing a moon-white shirt. The young man who lives across the hall met her, but never said hello. He came over. Not far away, he stood still and said softly, "Oh, are you here?" She didn't say anything, and he didn't say anything. He stood for a while and walked away.

that's it.

Later, this woman was abducted by relatives and sold to other counties as a concubine. She was sold again and again. After numerous thrilling storms, when she was old, she still remembered the past. She often talked about the young man under the peach tree at the back door that spring night.

You meet the person you want to meet among thousands of people. In thousands of years, in the boundless wilderness of time, you happened to catch up, neither earlier nor later. There is nothing else to say, except to ask gently, "Oh, are you here?"

(originally published in April 1944, Volume 13, No.1 of Magazine)

What is "poetry"? This is poetry. I quickly changed the last paragraph of Zhang Ailing's "Love" without changing a word, just using the Enter key, that is, it became the following form:

Among thousands of people

Meet the person you want to meet

In thousands of years

Time

Boundless

Wilderness

. Everyone almost said with one voice: it is a poem, it is a real poem. At this point, what is "poetry" is self-evident. The so-called poetry does not care about the form of branch and non-branch, but lies in the inner meaning. Zhang Ailing's "Love" and my preparation process touched my poetry again, and my inspiration seemed to come uninvited. I wrote a poem on the same topic as Zhang Ailing's Love. Transcribed in the following:

In the ten thousand years in Qian Qian,

Between the thousands of waters in Qian Shan'

In countless stories,

By chance

It was this moment

The sky was high and the clouds were light

You came from the south

I came from the north

I walked into this garden < A flower is blooming in the flowers

A breeze is blowing

Just when I am a little cold

You are a little lonely

At this moment

This place is

years away from thousands of Qian Qian people

My eyes

and your sight

That's it

- But after all, it is not really a "work", so I continued to revise it and changed the title to Autumn, and divided it into sections to show the external characteristics of "fracture". Now it is also copied in the following:

In the ten thousand years of Qian Qian,

In the endless waters of Qian Shan,

In countless stories,

I met you once by chance

You came from the south

I came from the north

It was this moment

I walked into this garden

The pomegranate red lotus residue

. > I'm a little lonely

This moment

is beyond the thousands of Qian Qian people

Years

My eyes and your sight

That's it,-Meeting

This poem, to some extent, already belongs to an original work. The process of creation is actually the process of preparing lessons and teaching, and the two are integrated into one. At this point, the teaching of "Old Time" poems has come naturally, and it has been analyzed all the way. I asked again what was "poetic" and what was "poetic" in the text, and the students understood it at once. Taking "poetry" as the key link and clue, the teaching of this group of poems is very easy and the students are very happy. After listening to this lesson, the teachers in our school all said that they had some insights: the process of teachers' creation was transformed into a process in which students could get vivid "experience", and reading and writing were truly combined. Among them, Teacher Tang Lan also wrote a special article. She said: "When we were tasting poetry and talking about poetry, artistic conception and emotion, President Liu Yuanzhao raised the question of' whether there is a meaning in the poem', which made us a little unexpected. However, when he cited the example of Zhang Ailing's Love and translated it into two poems, we really understood the meaning of Mr. Jin Kemu's "Don't write a poem if there is a meaning in it, and there is no poetry in it." He is conveying an idea about creation that he believes in-1. Poetry here is in a broad sense, a feeling of being immersed in art from the subject, and a new and special artistic atmosphere from the work. It is not only the most essential element, but also the essence of the article. " Putting forward this view is inseparable from his status as a poet and writer, and it can be said that it is an example of thick accumulation and thin hair. "She went on to say:" Culture, as a Chinese teacher, is' to learn from others, to learn from them, to learn from them, and to learn from them in the end'. It may not be difficult, but what is difficult is that it can be above the breadth, to identify, to make appointments, and to gain its own opinions and insights. Teacher Tang's words are very reasonable and enlightening to me.
