What are the four lines of English poetry?

See a world in a grain of sand.

Read the world from a grain of sand.

There is a heaven in a wild flower.

Find heaven in a flower.

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand.

Infinity is in the palm of your hand.

Eternity will melt in an hour.

Eternity is only a quarter of an hour.

According to the needs of English learners, a group of experts and scholars specializing in the teaching and research of British and American linguistics in colleges and universities have compiled four classic English poems, classic English poems, classic English novels and classic English reading materials (English-Chinese comparison).

The title of each classic English poem series (English-Chinese comparison) is selected from the masterpieces of British and American literature in different periods; In order to make readers have a more accurate and comprehensive understanding of the selected authors and works, each article consists of four parts: author introduction, comment, Chinese translation and comment. The author's brief introduction involves the author's position, contribution, representative works, style characteristics and schools in the history of British and American literature education. In the annotation part, the language difficulties, historical allusions, cultural/religious background and historical events in the selected articles are briefly annotated; Most Chinese translations are translated by famous translators, and some are translated by editors themselves. Readers with different cultural, educational, religious and political backgrounds may have different interpretations and understandings of the same literary work, use different literary theories, or draw different conclusions about the same literary work.

In the evaluation part, we try to adopt the "mainstream" "fixed evaluation" for a long time. Of course, due to the evaluator's own knowledge and preferences, the evaluation part also has distinct traces of evaluation and literary theory influence.
