Xu Ling (507-583), born in Tancheng County, Donghai County (now Tancheng City, Shandong Province), was a famous poet and writer in the Southern Dynasties. The general and the prince led Xu's son.
He was famous for his poems in his early years. At the age of eight, I can write. At the age of twelve, I know Zhuangzi and Lao Tzu. When I grow up, I am rich in historical records and eloquent. During Xiao Yan's time, Liang Wudi was a bachelor in the East Palace, and he often went in and out of the Forbidden City. He was a palace poet at that time, as well as Yu Xin, and was also called "Yu Xu". After entering Chen, he continued to write palace poems, all of which are famous for their lightness and beauty.
In the first year of Zhide (583), he died at the age of 77, and was named General Zhen You, Tejin, Shi Zhong, Dr Zuo Guanglu, Xuandao, Jianchang County Hou as usual, and posthumous title. "Xu Ji" 6 volumes, "Yu Tai Xin Yong" 10 volume.
