Seven-character poems include seven-character ancient poems, seven-character metrical poems and seven-character quatrains.
Seven ancient:
Seven-character ancient poems are the general name of seven ancient poems and songs. The so-called seven words of the ancients do not mean that every sentence in the whole poem is seven words, but as long as most sentences in the whole poem are seven words. For example, Li Bai's Shu Dao Nan contains three words, four words, five words, and nine words until the two rulers in this area forced it through in the foggy age, but it is still considered as a seven-character poem, not a miscellaneous word poem.
Poets since Ming and Qing Dynasties have two opinions on the division of seven-character ancient poems. One is that seven-character ancient poems and seven-character songs are integrated and can replace each other. For example, Hu Yinglin's "Poetry" said: "Seven-character ancient poems are generally called songs." Wang Shizhen's Selected Ancient Poems is divided into five-character poems and seven-character poems. In the poetry criticism of Ming and Qing dynasties, the seven ancient and seven-character songs are called each other, and the list is endless. On the other hand, another view is that there is a difference in form between the ancient seven dynasties and Ge surname, and this difference is great. On this issue, both Mr. Li Zhonghua and Mr. Li Hui have written. Simply put, from the formal point of view, both seven-character poems and seven-character songs are seven-character poems, and neither of them can be regarded as seven-character poems, so it seems natural that they belong to the same category with the same purpose. However, there are obvious differences in the origin, style and style of their respective poems.
Seven laws:
Seven-character metrical poem is a kind of metrical poem. Rhyme is a kind of China's modern poetry, which is named after its rigorous meter. Originated in the Southern and Northern Dynasties and matured in the early Tang Dynasty. Eight sentences, four rhymes or five rhymes. The two leagues in the middle must fight each other. The second, fourth, sixth and eighth sentences rhyme, and the first sentence can be played or not, usually in a flat voice. Divided into five words and seven words. Seven words are called seven rhymes, or seven rhymes for short. Each section has four sections (eight sentences). Five words in each sentence are five-character metrical poems, referred to as "five laws", and seven words in each sentence are seven-character metrical poems, referred to as "seven laws". The first and second sentences of metrical poems are called the first couplet, the third and fourth sentences are called the parallel couplet, the fifth and sixth sentences are called the neck couplet, and the seventh and eighth sentences are called the tail couplet. "Parallel connection" and "neck connection" must be dual; The last word of the second, fourth, sixth and eighth sentences must rhyme. Modern poetry, also known as modern poetry, is a new style of poetry that appeared in the Tang Dynasty, and it is named because it is different from ancient poetry. Modern poetry can be divided into quatrains and metrical poems, and four quatrains and eight metrical poems.
