The statue of "casting swords into plows" tells what people want.

It represents the good wishes of people all over the world for peace for thousands of years.

In the square of the United Nations Headquarters, there is an original sculpture with swords as plows. It consists of a pedestal and a statue. On the left side of the pedestal is engraved Uchetzic's poem "That moment will come". People will cast swords into plows and use javelins to make sickles. They will never see blood again, and they will never go to war again. On the right side, the following words are engraved: "Casting swords into plowshares" was a gift from the former Soviet Union to the United Nations in 1957, and won the grand prize at the Brussels International Expo in 1958. It is one of the masterpieces of the famous sculptor Uchegjic.
