Elegance is the earliest recorded folk song introduced into China from Korea. Ziou is a stringed instrument, which looks like today's "harp". According to Volume 26 of Yuefu Poetry, this poem Gong Wudu Crossing the River is quoted from Cui Bao's Notes on Ancient and Modern Times: "It was written by Li Yu, the high wife of He Lizi, a pawn in Tianjin, North Korea. When Chen started stabbing the boat, a white-headed madman was sent to carry a jar across the river. His wife stopped it, but she fell into the river and died. So he sang, "If you don't cross the river, you cross it and fall into the river and die. What would you do? " The voice was sad, and the song ended in a river and died. The child is still tall and the language is beautiful. Li Yu loved her, but she wrote down her heart in one breath, and the listener was in pain. Li Yu passed on his neighbor Li Rong with music and called it "Long Biography". "
As soon as this poem was published, there were many imitations and extensions. Zhang in the Southern Dynasties, Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty and He Jingming in the Ming Dynasty all have related works handed down.
