For 300 years, the poet's favorite is Schumann. Among Schumann's works, this one is my favorite. For Schumann, this article is like Jinse to a mountain-it is a masterpiece, a feeling of life experience, full of words and endless meaning.
This poem is easy to understand, and the four sentences only have two meanings: the first two sentences are about homesickness, and the last two sentences are about life experiences. The yearning for the old country and the feeling of falling are intertwined, and there is no separation at all.
In the first sentence, seven words are three images: spring rain; Shantou; The three images of the shakuhachi flute are simply displayed, such as three walls, which form a space, leaving unlimited imagination space for people. These three images are the best poetic materials-the spring rain is hazy, and I wonder whose building is playing the flute. Spring rain is easy to make people feel melancholy, and the sound of flute is heard, which arouses endless homesickness.
Sure enough, in the next sentence, the poet talked about homesickness. At that time, the poet lived abroad in Japan. The shakuhachi is the Japanese flute and the cherry blossom is the national flower of Japan, both of which illustrate the situation. Japanese Xiao and China have different styles, but they are still good materials for poetry. Xiao and Di have their own merits in China's poems. They are the accelerant of homesickness. Li Bai's poem "Smelling the flute in Los Angeles on a Spring Night" said: "Who can't stand the homesickness?" Li Yi's "On Listening to the Flute at Night on the Wall of the Country" says: "I don't know where to play the flute, and I want to recruit people all night." When Schumann wrote this article, he may have been subconsciously influenced by them. Turning from flute to homesickness is a common pattern of old poetry, but this article has not reduced the color. Roses and roses are always similar, so we love them.
There are still a few words to explain about Spring Rain, Shochiba Flute and Zhejiang Tide. The Yanzidong Essay (Article 29) says: "The Japanese Shochiba, like a Chinese flute, was heard from the Jin people. Its song is called "Spring Rain", which is deep and melancholy. Yu's poem "Spring Rain" says: ... ". According to legend, Japanese monks beg for food and often play the shakuhachi flute. Shuman is in a foreign country, and his mood is close to that of a beggar. In Begging for Food, the most melancholy song is Spring Rain, so Schumann pays most attention to this song. Spring Rain is of course the title of the song, but in this article, it is better to interpret it as a real scene. If you insist that "Spring Rain" is just the title of the song in the article, the look will be lowered. When reading this poem, we should know what kind of music Spring Rain is, instead of sticking to it as a song.
The Story of the Wild Goose (Chapter 20) says, "... we will arrive in Shanghai the next day. I immediately went into town, bought a monk's robe and went to Wulin naked to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the holy lake. Now I should return my long-cherished wish by the way. When I arrived at the West Lake, my eyes were full of silence and joy, and I was completely lost in the world. Fish-and-pepper boat, Maojiabu. Arrived, left the ship, carried many things, and voted for Lingyin Temple, which is the Song Dynasty's' building to watch the sea, the door is facing Zhejiang tide'. "'Zhejiang Tide' comes from the poems of Song Dynasty. The Story of Wild Goose, written after the return of Japan, is an autobiographical work by Schumann. Wulin has been a beautiful place since ancient times, and it has been enriched by Song's famous sayings. When will Schumann forget it? Therefore, after returning from the field, the first stop was here. " "Wild Goose Crossing the Red Ridge" is a thing that has been remembered, while "Spring Rain" is a thing that has not been remembered. In a word, Zhejiang Tide is a place for Schumann to bury his dreams around his soul. "Back to Zhejiang Tide" is exactly what the fox meant when he died. "Zhejiang Tide" is a famous qiantang bore and a symbol of passion and strength. Therefore, "the building looks at the sea and the door faces the Zhejiang tide" is a Zhuang language, and "looking at the Zhejiang tide" is also a Zhuang language. The sadness of the whole poem does not hide the power of this sentence; The strength of this sentence adds to the sadness of the whole poem.
Three or four sentences, from the thought of the old country to the feeling of life experience. Breaking bowls with sandals is to show one's status as a monk. Monks can only be a pair of sandals, a broken bowl, walk thousands of villages and beg for a living. "Which bridge did you cross?" How many bridges and roads have you crossed? I don't remember. Of course, poets are not necessarily so miserable that they have to beg for alms. These two sentences just want to exaggerate the sadness of life experience. What a mismatch between "whore" and cherry blossoms! In a gorgeous and beautiful background, it is such a wandering monk who has never been known. The gorgeous background makes the hero's loneliness stand out strangely.
"Which bridge did you cross?" It seems to come from hill's word. Hill's "Partridge Sky" says: "The dream soul is used to unrestrained inspection, and it has passed the thank-you flower." "Huayang" has been replaced by "Sakura", but dreams and poems remain unchanged. Xiao Yan, a poet hundreds of years ago, is a sentimental and sentimental species. So did Su, a poet hundreds of years later. The Xiaoyan "Linjiang Xianzi" also says: "Looking for a way in a dream, flying rain and falling flowers." Poets are always sensitive to dreams of falling flowers. Didn't the "spring rain" in the first sentence and the "falling flowers" in the last sentence reveal this information? In the rain flowers all over the sky, a poetic monk wearing broken shoes came, which is a dreamy artistic conception!
Cherry blossom is a very beautiful and gorgeous flower, but its flowering period is too short, and it will wither in the wind and rain in less than half a month. Her glory shocked us, and her decline made us sad. She is extremely beautiful, but she can't stay forever, just like our beautiful youth and beautiful life. Life is like a dream, beautiful, but short. It is surprisingly short. That makes us doubt her existence and think that she is just a dream, not real. The poet who left this beautiful chapter for us only spent 35 spring and autumn years on earth, and then left forever in poverty and illness. Schumann is a poet among poets. He used poetry to express life, and also used life to interpret poetry. The poet's poems and life should be mutually verified.
Remember to ask your friends: What is the feeling of cherry blossoms? The friend replied: flowers are like dreams. It was really touching.
Suddenly I remembered two poems from North Island: "Road, road, full of red poppies."
The name "Su" should give the younger generation a feeling of "whispering". However, Cantonese opera lovers may have some memories of the opera "Feeling Monk Su", and senior opera fans will also have some impressions of Wu Chufan and the Cantonese movie "Biography of Wild Goose" played by Luo Lian in the 1950s. This film is adapted from Suman's autobiographical novel of the same name.
Recently, there has been a Su fever, especially in Chinese mainland. Use google.com's search engine to search with "Su", and you can find hundreds of web pages for reference immediately. The whole book "Wild Goose in Broken Hongling" can also be downloaded and read chapter by chapter.
Su Sheng was born in the late Qing Dynasty, which means that he was born in the last century. His life is briefly described as follows:
Su, nicknamed Saburo, was born in Xiangshan (Zhongshan, Guangdong) and was born in Yokohama, Japan in the 10th year of Guangxu (1884). My father is a Guangdong tea merchant and my mother is Japanese. At the age of five, Sue returned to Guangdong with her father.
Sue became a monk at Changshou Temple in Guangzhou when she was twelve years old. When he was young, he was knowledgeable and quick-thinking
After that, Sue went to Waseda University in Tokyo to study, and used her vacation to travel to Thailand, Sri Lanka and other countries. After finishing his studies, he returned to China. During his stay in Japan, he joined the patriotic organization of overseas students studying in China and tended to the democratic revolution.
Sue has no long-term formal education, but she is good at poetry, painting, English, French, Japanese and Vatican, and has close contacts with literary giants such as Chen Duxiu and Liu Yazi.
Su Yingnian died young and died in Shanghai in 19 18 at the age of 34.
Last Monday, at Ms. Sun Lingzhi's residence in Bushi, several academic colleagues formed a small gathering, led by Professor Ye Hongyu of the University of Oregon, who happened to give a lecture in Bushi to discuss the legend of Su. Participants included Ye, Professor, author, Ms. Sun and the author of Kunming University.
Sue is a monk; Buddhism requires people to abandon lust, which brings people pain. Sue is a rare sentimental person in the world, and the title of "Love Monk" reveals this basic contradiction. He has profound Buddhism, but he longed to be loved all his life, but he was expelled from his alma mater because he was addicted to food. He pursued peace of mind, but made friends with laity and even supported the revolutionary movement. He is not a saint, but he suffers from the contradictions and pains of mortals, which is his lovely place.
Su's works are not many. Apart from a few thin books, there were no great works left, but they had a great influence on young people at that time.
Professor Ye Hongyu analyzed that the reason why he was paid attention by mainland readers recently was mainly because his experience of pursuing personality liberation made China people feel * * * after the reform and opening up today.
Come with me, and post a "Story of Broken Hongyan" for you to learn. This is Su's autobiographical love novel, which describes his love tragedy with Japanese girl Shizuko. At that time, it was regarded as an extremely bold work by the older generation, but it fascinated thousands of young students and read hungrily. Please look at the following paragraph (chapter 16)
..... Static son head down, more than once ... Choose less, approached the chest, double Adriá n Pollo noticed the rest of the surface.
In the moonlight, I looked at his face intently, and the clouds crossed the moon, which was beautiful. At this time, all is silent and my heart is not in town; Looking up at the sky, dark clouds are gathering, only a few stars are left, shaking and disappearing. I said to myself unconsciously, "Wow! This is not the world, is it? Why am I in such a scenic spot tonight? "
Yu Yanfu unexpectedly, like a wisp of Wu Mian, gently and warmly attached to my palm. If you look at it, Shizuko will hold it in one hand and sit in the other. I stood on my knees, but I couldn't take it off myself. After a long time, Shizuko made a clear voice, as if complaining, and said, "Let me ask Saburo, my aunt. Have you ever mentioned Saburo? "
At this time, I have no nerve, my knees are shaking and my teeth are hitting each other. I dare not look down, but meditate. My love is already open, and it is difficult to fly. It's the time. ...
I just said that, I suddenly felt Jingzi's tendon beating and suddenly let go of her soft palm. I was surprised as if my heart was frozen in my words. Yu zhengsi said something else, and suddenly it blew from the sea, and even the mountains blew away and left the forest. Yu Fang stood in the room, and Amethyst looked around in dismay. That is to say, a warm handkerchief came out of his chest and stuffed it in his palm. He immediately said, "Saburo, take care. Among them, there is a note with pear blossoms in Zhang Xiu, which was embroidered by my grandmother when I was a baby. I want to report this morning's masterpiece as a gift. You can accept it. This idle flower, Ning Zuyun Gong? Saburo knows my heart! "
I heard it was a language, but I didn't think much. Self-awareness is rejected by kindness and forbearance; If you accept it, you will see things and think of people. You'd rather take a positive photo to prove that there is no life. I thought it over and over again, and I didn't know what to do. Amethyst wanted to have something to say, but she heard the evil wind whistling, the sound shook ten sides, and the waves hit the stones, like the sound of Pojun, which was sad. Jing Er takes it out of her handkerchief. Please accept the rest of her chest. ...
I made a few comments from the perspective of literature:
First of all, the description method of this passage was really a great breakthrough at that time. Compared with popular love novels such as Jade Pear Soul (written by Xu Zhenya), social novels such as Nine Lives and Strange Complaints (The Story of Liang Tianlai written by Wu) and political novels such as Officialdom Revealed (written by) in the same period, I don't know how much it has surpassed in skills.
This passage has both psychological description (emotion) and environmental description (scenery), which is the moment to write emotions, scenery and scenes. Scenery moves with feelings, and feelings are born of scenes. The author uses the first-person narrative point of view to make readers feel the scene at that time, not the owner of the story.
In addition, his description uses the methods of distance and close observation, which is also called the difference between distance and distance. When we read this passage, it's like watching a movie. The distant view, the middle view, the close view and the close view push and pull each other, and the narration and dialogue set each other off, which is amazing!
Maybe you can understand it better by knowing the background.
