Du Fu was also in high spirits when he was young. What really changed his style?

Du Fu (7 12-770), with beautiful words, was a great realistic poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. He was known as the "poet saint" and was called "Du Li" together with Li Bai. Originally from Xiangyang, Hubei Province, Gong County, Henan Province. After he entered Shu, he was recommended by his friends, and was also called Du Shiyi, a staff officer of Ren Jiannan Drug Rehabilitation Center and a minister of the Ministry of Industry. Du Fu lived from place to place all his life and experienced war, which directly affected the change of his poetic style.

The transformation of Du Fu's poetic style has gone through three periods:

Early stage: the true feelings of heroes (7 12-746). Du Fu was born in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. At this time, the country is prosperous and the people are safe. Like all ambitious young people in Du Fuxiang, he traveled around trying to broaden his horizons. Taking the imperial examination is to serve the country. Du Fu traveled all over Zhao Qi, wuyue, and met Li Bai, a lifelong friend. At this time, one of his masterpieces, Wang Yue, wrote: "Once you climb to the top of the mountain, you will see that other mountains are short in the sky." This shows that Du Fu is ambitious and high-spirited.

Mid-term: ridicule and exposure (746-755). At this time, before the Anshi Rebellion, the country had already declined. However, Du Fu took part in the imperial examination, but the examination was manipulated artificially, which led to Du Fu's failure. Later, he presented poems many times, but failed to get the attention of the rulers. Du Fu was trapped in Chang 'an for ten years, and his career was frustrated. He "sells medicine in the city and sends food to his friends". At this time, his eyes turned to dissatisfaction with the debauchery of the ruling class and sympathy for the working people. Representative works include Military Vehicle Shop, Second Road, and Five Hundred Words from Beijing to Fengxian. Two of them, For the Road, satirize the luxurious and dissolute life of the nobility.

Later period: worrying about the country and the people (756-770). At this time, the Anshi rebellion broke out, the country was in turmoil, and the Hu people invaded. Du Fu settled in Zhangzhou and went to Suzong alone. He was captured halfway and taken to Chang 'an. Later, he was demoted for offending Su Zong, and he has been displaced since then. Facing the tragic situation that the mountains and rivers were broken, the ruling class was incompetent and the people were slaughtered by Hu Bing, he wrote "Love River Head, Northern Expedition, Three Officials and Three Farewells".

Du Fu lived in exile all his life, and his poems were called "the history of poetry". The change of style also reflects the process of Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline.
