Mei Huang Shi, every family was flooded by rain, and the pond was covered with green grass and frogs.
It's past midnight, and the invited guests haven't come yet. I tapped the chess pieces bored and shook the wick of an oil lamp. Snuff: Mars falling after wick burning. )

Dating someone, waiting for a long time, playing chess at leisure, shaking the snuff, it can be seen that the wick burns for a long time, and the poet is quite annoyed. What's more, in Huangmei season, it's hot and wet, and it's raining moderately, and it doesn't clear up for a few days. Frogs croak, one after another, never giving people peace. The poet listened to the knock on the door and footsteps, but all he heard was the rain and frogs. The deeper the night, the louder the voice, but the guests didn't come. In anxiety, the poet unconsciously fiddled with the chess pieces, as if to make noise to break the silence, but even the noise was so monotonous.
Interestingly, the whole poem reads without irritability and hostility. Zhao Shixiu's "Jianghu Poetry School" pursues elegant and seamless poetic style. Poets use it to describe daily troubles, so there is a wonderful distance between life and poetry. When writing poetry, the poet examines the turbulent events with an empty heart, so the thick fireworks are given another indifferent meaning. In other words, poetry graces daily life. The details of life are examined, observed and expressed as objects. The poet separated himself from his daily life and let the poet observe his own life, so he had beauty and interest in the anxiety of waiting, and life was screened into a poem.
