Luo
Cicada sings in the west,
Keep me firm in my cell.
But it needs songs with black wings,
Break the heart of a white-haired prisoner.
He struggled to fly in the fog,
His pure voice was drowned in the wind world.
Who knows if he is still singing? ,
Who will listen to me? .
Appreciation of Luo's poems
In ancient China, cicada was regarded as a symbol of nobility, because it stood high on the branches, feasted beautifully, drank nectar and stood aloof from the world. Therefore, many ancient poets chanted cicadas, some to praise the noble character, some to express their feelings about the bleak life experience.
For example, "pure heart drinks dew from itself, and sorrow sings the wind." Before going to the crown side, I was surprised in the leaves. "(Li Bai's medicine" Yong ")" The drink is unclear, and the intellectual person is easy to be satisfied. " (Chu Yun's "Fude Zen") "What surprises me most is to bother you and live as pure as you." (Li Shangyin's Cicada), in the works of poets with different life experiences, ordinary cicadas have their own characteristics, as if they were the embodiment of a noble literati image. Among the poems chanting cicadas in past dynasties, this poem "Political Prisoners Listen to Cicada" is the most celebrated and widely circulated.
The poem "Political Prisoners Listen to Cicada" is different from ordinary Cicada poems, and its feelings are sincere and rich. Not only is there no moaning without illness, but it is also not the lament of "poor people's dereliction of duty and frustration". It expresses deep sorrow beyond words.
This poem was written by Wang Luobin when he was in Yifeng prison for three years. Although he went to prison for different reasons, most people thought he was framed. For example, Wu Hou's dictatorship, exclusion of dissidents, severe punishment and severe laws, and the wind of informers prevailed.
Wang Luobin wrote many letters to satirize and protest, so he was convicted and dismissed from his post, and was jailed for taking bribes. Some people also analyzed the words "silence and caution" according to his "prison book", and thought that his unintentional words caused an unwarranted blow.
Wang Luobin, with chivalrous character, suffered such injustice, so he used chanting cicadas to maintain his innocence and vent his anger. In the preface of the poem, he wrote: "A servant who has lost his way is suffering from difficulties and obstacles and suffering from the emblem of the times. He blamed himself instead of being sad. He declined first and then shook it off. Smell his wife's voice and turn over a new leaf (revenge and suspicion of imprisonment)
I already played. Seeing the shadow of mantis, I am afraid of crisis. Poetry is composed of feelings, and feelings make friends. When the poet wrote this poem in prison, he not only told his bosom friend his grievances, but also showed his distrust of Zhao Xue.
At the end of the preface, I wrote: "Not for pen and ink, but for worry." This shows that what you write is from the heart.
On the one hand, it shows that the season is autumn, on the other hand, it shows the place where the poet was imprisoned-Forbidden West. Cicada chirping refers to the chirping of cicadas. The preface in the poem says, "The rest of the forbidden places, west of the forbidden wall, are the affairs of the Dharma Cottage. There are several ancient locust trees. . . Every evening, the sun shines gloomily, and Qiu Chan pulls it out, making a quiet sound and smelling it. When people's hearts are different, the sound of insects is more sad than before? " The poet lost his freedom, and listening to the intermittent chirping of cicadas, he felt unusual and deeply felt that there was a kind of bitterness and sadness in it. This naturally leads to the following sentence: "In my cell, tell me to make up my mind". The cry of cicada aroused the poet's infinite melancholy and sorrow for his hometown. The word "invasion" appropriately expresses the poet's anxious mood and situation.
The second couplet "but it needs the singing with black wings to break the heart of a white-haired prisoner" is the continuation of the first couplet, further expressing the poet's sadness and anxiety. The poet seems to be talking to the cicada, and he seems to be talking to himself: I have suffered enough, where can I stand your constant complaints about me! As the saying goes, no pains come, how can people be inferior!
Triple "His flight is heavy through the fog, and his pure voice is drowned in the world of wind" is ostensibly talking about cicadas, but in fact it is talking about their own situation. Dewdrops in autumn are dignified, wet cicadas' wings and difficult to fly. The autumn wind blows frequently, and the cicada's voice can't travel far. Here, the embarrassing situation of cicada is a metaphor for the twists and turns of its career, which is difficult to enter; He was slandered by many slanders, jailed and unable to defend himself. This poem is euphemistic and meaningful.
The couplet is a deep sigh: "who knows if he is still singing?" Who will listen to me? ? "No one in the world values" nobility "now, who can I expect to rehabilitate me? This lament, like an appeal from God, is like an accusation against traitors, full of resentment. The poet is not exaggerating. The cruel reality is just as he expected. Although "rehabilitated", there is no news like a mud cow entering the sea. It was not until the first year of hanging furnace that Emperor Gaozong went to Du Dong to grant amnesty to the world that King Robin was released from prison, but he took bribes.
However, the charges against him are linked to his "literary name" and will go down in history forever. How can this resentment be eliminated? Perhaps this is the reason why he actively participated in and drafted Begging for Wu Zhao when he devoted himself to the struggle against weapons.
Once said: "Ask how to sing first? A: There is nothing to say. Don't set foot in dogs, first, the story of dogs, second, the sustenance of dogs, third, the portrayal of dogs, the foil of dogs. It's really good to get rid of these three, but it's not easy to form words. It's really good to recover. The nature of the topic is good, and the distance outside the topic is particularly good. It is also good to have self-knowledge, and it is also good to have self-knowledge. " The most prominent feature of the poem "Political Prisoners Listen to Cicada" is "three dogs here". The allusions are apt to nature, the metaphors are incisive and vivid, and the feelings are profound. This is indeed the essence of the topic, but it is also far from the topic, so it can become a household name. The first couplet of this poem, "Western Heaven" versus "Southern Crown" and "Cicada"
For "guest thinking", "singing harmony" and "invasion", the confrontation is neat. The second couplet is changed into a flowing pair, which is coherent from top to bottom, and the front and back couplets are patchy. The third part is implicit and interesting. The language of the tail couplet is sharp and carefree. Although some people think it is "too explicit", Luo, who is proficient in poetry and Taoism, believes that it is not so difficult to express his thoughts. This style of "getting it off your chest quickly" is a consistent feature of Luo's poems. Lu Shiyong once said, "According to neighbors, it is easy to clean up seaweed." This poetic style of "Tan Yi" also shows his charming, bold and refined temperament. Although Luo's poems can't get rid of the legacy of the Six Dynasties, they don't deliberately pursue form. This cicada-chanting poem is neat, changeable in syntax, refined in language, beautiful in sound and rhyme, deep in style but not depressing, giving people a neat and lively aesthetic feeling.
